I hear you all!! I am 37 and in Australia, and have been struggling with out of control food cravings and weight gain for more than a year. I’ve finally got my mind and my hormones in check so am ready be motivated and be motivating!! 😊

I've just started back in the 5:2 and I find the days after fasting the trickiest too. I do find I fare better holding off to have "breakfast" even on non-fast days - apart from it making me want to eat everything all day, food first thing makes me a bit queasy. A cup of coffee with a generous splash of milk and a huge mug…

You could also look into/Google low FODMAP recipes. While it sounds like you have some additional foods you are avoiding (nightshades, etc), and there would be things that the low FODMAP would avoid that you perhaps don't need to, recipes tend to be gluten, dairy and legume free. Best of luck!
