[/quote] Because if you make your diary private, knowing that you're not open to criticism, you'll get it anyway in the form of accusations of lying, hiding something, shame, not being 100%. Seriously, I have seen people on here get REALLY worked up about closed diaries. It's a case of damned if you do and damned if you…

distract yourself with something else, drink water, have a very light snack like a piece of fruit or a teaspoon of nutella. the same thing happened to me i couldn't go to sleep without food so i've resorted to a light snack and drinking water and getting distracted with a show or movie to forget about food and it works.…

go ahead weigh yourself everyday but make a routine only record once a week the same time same day. You can record your daily weigh-in on another spreadsheet on your computer so you can see exactly what foods tips the scale and what foods doesn't.

good for you. I noticed i'm going to have a waist again and i've only lost 5lbs.

fast food contains alot of salt and processed foods means they are ready made heat and serve foods contain alot of salt too. You can't cut salt completely but they say sea salt is better for you so I switched to using sea salt at home. I usually cook most of my meals so I can control salt.

thank you that was really nicely said. Usually when i go over its roughly 100 or more cals but i don't fret i just stick to it because i've found that you'll still lose but maybe not as much weight. It's when you start eating whole packets of things like chocolate when you need to worry you'll definately gain alot.

I saw this on Dr Oz the other day he used greek yogurt and mixed his favorite flavor mix in the greek yogurt and the audience member loved it.

You're right just don't go for that sort of thing your dignity is more important.

I net around 1300 and sometimes more and I don't always exercise but you can log different activities such as gardening etc. so its all up to the individual. I've found you won't lose as much weight as expected if you slack off. Good Luck
