Way to go!

yesterday was 1A1, I've done lots of weights before so i thought this first work out would just be too easy. But boy was i wrong! I can really feel it! I'm so excited for the shorter work/more intense workouts! 1B1 on Wednesday(i think i'm going to need the extra day in between!). Does any one have a hard time getting the…

sounds great, thanks for the post!

Welcome, feel free to add me. I've been on this site for about 3 months and I'm loving all the help and support. It's really been a positive experience so far.

I have a slightly flat foot as well. If you sit on the balls of your feet (with your knees touching the floor lightly) it will help stretch out your arch and help the soreness/tightness go away.

I did see the modifications in the book but I didn't see any for a few. For example I didn't see anything for the Lat pull down? Would i just go though the same motion but with dumbbells? I could be missing something since there is soo much information.

I'm a fan of the gold standard line also. I really like casein protein as I feel fuller longer but it has about the same qualities as the whey other wise. -word of caution, you need more water/milk because its extra thick.

i love broccoli, raw or steamed, just plain. YUM YUM Also my new fav snack is peanut butter banana sandwiches... who knew Elvis was right!

Thanks, I started reading part 1 while i was waiting for the book but was getting a little lost since i didn't know what everyone was talking about. Now that I've finished I'll start reading through again. I'll be following the macro-nutrients but I'm just going to use it as a guide. That many meals just wouldn't fit into…

I just finished reading the book and going through all the exercises in stage one. Starting officially tomorrow! I can't wait! Is anyone else doing this completely from home? I know I'll be ok for the most part but i'm a bit worried on modifying some of the exercises. Any advice? Anyone have before and after results to…

What do you consider adequate protein, I'm set at 30% or somewhere around 113g per day (which i find incredibly difficult to match) I lift heavy, well heavy for me lol. I love lifting but motivation to get up out of bed is still a bit tough. I'm working with a support group

Just a questions from a woman's pov. I am currently at 25ish % and would love to get down to 20 but i don't want to be skinny fat. I have dieted down from 26-27% but from tracking my %s I'm losing mostly LBM. Is there a way to curb how much I'm losing or is it just an inevitable part of losing and I'll just have to work up…

Very interested to see what everyone has to say

Bump, I'm loving this! Great motivation!

I have the same issue with my calves, it's so difficult to find any boots that fit. where did you find them?

I never did insanity but i've heard great things. I didn't like P90x because i found it to be to much upper body and geared much more towards men. I'm doing turbo fire now and i love it. Lots of dancy/boxing stuff. The music is great and i don't even feel like its working out until i look down and i see a puddle of sweat.…

what a great idea! can't wait to see the results

I can't speak for everyone but i feel the best when i make my NET calories 1200 on the days that i work out. SOO if my typical goal was 1600 and i worked out for 500 theoretically to eat back all of them I'd have to eat 2100 calories but i find that I'm forcing myself to eat at that point. SO instead i make try to eat 1700…

I can't believe how closed minded people are. I am a believe in intermittent style fasting. But every person is different just because you don't think you could follow it or that it wouldn't work for you doesn't mean that it's wrong. Open your mind and read the studies.

I'm in the same boat. 5'4, 132 and I'd like to get back to 120ish and then tone up.

Hi all. I'm doing the chalean extreme/ turbo fire hybrid right now. I edited the schedule a bit to fit my own needs but I'm loving it. Feel free to add me for support

very interesting, can't wait to try it out.

I believe every person is different. Personally I don't eat breakfast just black coffee. I feel weighed down when i have a big breakfast. Besides i find that if I'm trying to stick to my "ideal" calorie count of between 1300 and 1400 for the day, breaking it down into 5 meals is difficult. I like two larger meals and one…

This is making me hungry!

Wow! You are an amazing person and you've worked so hard. Be proud of who you are and what you've achieved. You are truely an inspiration. Way to go!
-
WOW! Great Job! I'm thinking i might need to save up for insanity!
-
Yum, this sounds so awesome! I'm going to have to give it a go this weekend!

Personally I love turbo fire and never could get ion p90x. Also if you are able to get the delux version the program can be extended for 20weeks. There are strength training work outs included too.
