Nice job. I did that a few years ago and made it to a little over 4 days. What got me was I missed the taste of food. At some point I'm going to give it another go, maybe when I can plan it around some time off from work.

The important thing is to drink enough water. Cold water just has the added benefit of you're body has to use calories to warm it.

When they give you your calorie limit, it has already worked in a calorie deficete for you by 250 calories a day per half pound you've said you wanted to lose. If you go too much below that, you're body will go into starvation mode, thinking it has to cling to ever calorie and preventm you from losing weight.

One thing you can do that can help save your knees, if it's an option for you is to swim or to workout in the water. In the water you get equal resistance back to what you put forward and the pressure on your joints is 1/10 of what it is out of the water.

A couple years ago I had success with the Power 90 system, which was the precursor to P90X. I'll be starting it up again once an injury I have heals up.
