I keep them to remind me how I DON'T want to look ever again :-) Also, it's fun when your FB friends who only see you in person once in a while are shocked when they see you. That never gets old!

THANK you! lolol I was wondering painfully how long this would go on!

LOL--thanks...and Hats off to you for sticking with it!!!! That is actually how I discovered Body Combat. I walked in to what I thought was just a cardio something, and boy was I in for it! But....I stuck with it, dropped a bunch of weight and found my calling in life :-) Stick with it--its "evil" because it burns more…

I am working on becoming a Body Combat instructor, so I feel your pain. Literally! HOWEVER, I am seeing advice for heat heat heat. NO! I went to physical therapy for the toll it took on my back as well as my primary care physician. They BOTH said to put COLD on it. There was a previous poster who mentioned the heat…

I was forced to do a voice over commercial for a strip club when I was interning at a radio station. :smokin:

You will have to find something that works for you, your routine and your body type. Just because you don't belong to a gym doesn't mean you can't consult with a trainer, a nutritionist or a doctor that can point you in the right direction and get your forward momentum going. You sound like you really want this, so yes,…

Yet again another example of people who have no filter/tact and feel that their unsolicited opinions about your personal journey are welcomed. Usually stems from their own insecurity, or maybe even envy of your success. So sad for them. I am back to my pre-pregnancy weight (which was my goal) but am still trying to…

cucumbers--they make whatever they are in taste like cucumbers. :noway: sushi--I like my food cooked...not merely unconscious.

I'm with you, and have been doing the same thing--laying low and not getting too involved in many threads. Some people like the drama, maybe? Not me. :glasses:

I'm not an expert, but I will share my recent findings. I have never been able to take rest days. I understand what you mean 100%. I don't feel right/have a good day if I haven't gotten a good workout in. So I worked out every day. Beginning of this week, my body shut down on me. I had "Over training Syndrome" which…

Sent: Hey I finally got that check I was waiting for. Woot! Received from Husband: What does woot mean?

Thats so funny--that is my profile pic. :) A very good question indeed though. I don't think the haven't-eaten-for-days look:sick: is better than a fit woman with curves.

It took me two years to get down to pre-preg. weight. I hate seeing that unrealistic bs.

I've lost exactly 60 lbs. As more weight came off, I would up the intensity and duration of my workouts, and/or switch them up so my body never becomes too accustomed to what I am doing. I also took up running. As far as the rest of it, I would be repeating what others have already said in their posts. One thing I do want…

The bachelor--its the train wreck effect.....can't help but look.

"When you're at work, does anybody ever say 'Sounds like somebody has a case of the mondays?" "No, no s**t no, man....I believe you'd get your a**kicked for saying something like that!" Office Space:laugh:

OMG...^^ this....word for freakin word! lol!!!!

In a perfect world, everyone at the gym would stop judging each other and just be respectful of those around them....but unfortunately--not the way it is. I go to the gym and focus on myself and my goals (as a mother, it is my ONLY time to do something for me). I could care less about what anyone else is doing.

LMAO!! SO TRUE!!! You are my hero lol! :flowerforyou:

Hi fellow shorties :flowerforyou: I am 5'2" and it is so easy for tiny and cute to become short and stocky (sp?) :explode: In 2011 I lost 30 lbs--15 of them since I joined MFP. It took me the past two years to lose the 60 ponds of baby weight I had packed on. Though I have finally lost all that, I am close to my ultimate…

I don't--because I do housework everyday. HOWEVER, if I'm on hands and knees scrubbing grout like Cinderella and I'm breaking a sweat.....I might do it then
