As an eating disorder survivor, the first step I took to getting better was reaching out and saying "I think I have a problem." You have already done that. I would agree with previous posters that you need to seek professional help with the struggle you have ahead of you. You can and will do it, and I am sorry to hear of…

Very strong of you not to compromise your own goals or happiness, and being able to recognize a situation that is not good for you. Good for you!:drinker:

Congratulations! It takes a looooooong time to get your body built up to run longer and longer without stopping. This is a huge accomplishment and you deserve to feel so happy as you do! Congratulations and keep up the good work--I'm sure you will continue to amaze yourself with what you can do.

Noticeable is an understatement! Congratulations!

These answers are interesting--I don't have an answer and neither did my doc. :-( But just wanted you to know that you are not alone! i call myself the sweaty girl at the gym. I take group classes and I sweat more than the guys. Oh well.

So awesome! No better motivator than that!

I think you are organized and dedicated. I wish I could be more like that. Once again, people just have to insert their unsolicited opinions--usually stemming from jealousy, because they would do it if they had the drive and/or dedication.

I'm the same way but I just end up showering after each workout. I won't wash my hair if it didn't get too bad. If it did and I have already washed it then I will put a moisture treatment in it instead of washing--it gets rid of the sweat and won't dry your hair out so much.

Okay I just tried this and I got 481.8, which to me seems more likely than the 159 MFP gives me.............
-
Where did you get that equation? I might try it if its reliable. I was looking at it last night and I am having a hard time with the accuracy of the calories burned while strength training. For example, my 60 minutes of strength training equated to the same as 20 minutes on the elliptical? Can't be right. When I do my…

I skip it--it's my TOM too--and no weigh ins for me. Its not just that its disheartening, but its not accurate either--so I really don't see the point. I mean, we know we should weigh ourselbves at the right time of day to get accuracy, so why not the right TOM?
-
You totally can--in fact, check this website out.....you can even adjust your effort levels for accuracy. www.zumbacalories.com

Great post! If everyone (myself included sometimes):blushing: sat down and itentified their excuses (or as I call them "justifications") they would be a lot less likely to use them again in the future!
