I have similar, its going, its just taking time. Just keep losing & keep working the muscles underneath and it will go from there eventually.

This is awesome :) I will have a go one day, but so far my arms are pathetic with anything over 65lbs, and I weight a lot more than that :)

Same here, my mum worked full time, we were a single parent family on low income, but we ate healthy. Every Saturday we each dragged 2 heavy bags from the market. My mum shopped at Iceland and Aldi (as I still do!) and very rarely bought convenience food because although fresh meat and vegetables were more expensive, they…

How allergic are you? I can't drink cows milk without my throat starting to close up, but I can handle whey protein. Have you tried whey? Apparently egg protein is good too. Soya protein, hemp protein & pea protein are all gross for smoothies IMO, but work well in savoury stuff. I will sometimes blend spinach, protein…

My bf eats curry with rice & bread at least 6 days a week and pizza on a weekend and he weighs less than 160lbs. Im with the others that say I don't miss anything because I am not on a diet and have not restricted my range of foods

Also, as long as you are eating below your TDEE, you will not gain weight. In fact, you will need to eat your TDEE PLUS 500 cals a day for a week to put a pound back on. So don't panic if you go over your 1500 or 1600 goal, the loss might be slower, but it will be consistent, and I always think its better to lose slowly so…

I am 5ft 4, 199lbs, and I wasnt losing much at 1500 a day so now I am netting 1650ish a day, doing strength training 2-3 times a week, and I have lost 2 dress sizes and am losing at a nice rate. I think 1400 is too far under your TDEE, try eating a bit more, exercise when you can, and drink more! The diet cokes are quite…

Yep, a lot of stuff has the 1g option, or you can add it as one your own foods, or a recipe, or you can use a fraction. like 1.23 of a 70g serving There are loads of entries for bananas, one of them will have grams

I like power bar protein plus vanilla, but they are at least £1.50 each and not that filling. I suggest making your own. Have a look at www.proteinpow.com My favourite ones are chocolate peanut protein bars, and I tend to make them up as I go along now, I put in a couple of scoops of flavoured protein powder, some cocoa,…

I have a 4, it does everything I need

Im 200lbs and I can't burn 900 cals in an hour. Maybe 600 at a real push.

Not much help for right now, but I bring in my lunch 4 days a week, otherwise I end up at Subway. I make salads, 2 days at a time, using 2 x 1.5L tupperwears. For 2 days, theres a full lettuce, half a cucumber, 3 tomatoes, some spring onion, radish, celery, beetroot, whatever else I have - general salad stuff, and then for…

I love this! I have lost an AC unit so far

I set mine at sedentary so my TDEE is about 1950. I am currently eating at my BMR which is about 1650 calories, and any extra ones I 'earn' from proper exercise. I eat most of them back, but not always all. I only log proper exercise, but at times during the day I can be quite active, running up and down lots of stairs at…

I treat myself with posh food occasionally, but its almost always within my calorie goals. Part of me thinks that when I am where I want to be, I will treat myself to a new (to me) car, but since I will have to buy loads of clothes that fit, I wont have the money! My next little goal prize will be a swimsuit so I can go…

No, the government makes too much money on taxing cigarettes (and alcohol) that they would never consider banning them. I am sure they only made class a drugs illegal because they can't control, and therefore can't tax them. I have never smoked, I might take it up when I am 80

£18 for gym membership, which currently converts to $28US and about the same on protein. Plus, since I started this weight loss shizz, I eat more, and I eat better, and that costs a bit more than before, when I dont actually remember what I used to eat!

There are 2 options. Either use MFP to set you a goal based on your general day to day activities, and then log and eat back all exercise cals, OR set your TDEE minus x% higher, based on your general day to day activities AND you classes and runs, and dont eat back your exercise cals I work out my TDEE on what I do daily -…

1550 plus exercise calories. I think I will put it up again soon though, I lift 3 times a week and do a bit of cardio here and there and wear a HRM when I do both

This is stupid. And unclear. Is it one cup of Haagen Daaz vanilla at 600+ cals or one cup of your bog standard supermarket soft scoop at 350+ cals? And if you are eating either of those at the end of the day, why dont you just eat something sensible throughout the day instead of filling up on stupid calories at the end of…

I just posted it on your wall, but I will do it here too! YAY YOU! SO CLOSE! LETS DO THIS! :D

Unless you are eating 3500 (500 a day) calories above your TDEE, you will not gain weight. You might initially retain water for a week or so whilst your body starts working properly again, and a small deficit of 10% should help you shift the last of your lbs.

Glad to hear this! i wont be taking part this year as I havent taken up running yet, but hopefully they will increase them next year and maybe we will get one in Birmingham :)
-
When I had mine out, I was told to give it 2 weeks before resuming normal activity. SoI would give it another couple of weeks before starting something a bit more strenuous like running. I wasnt a runner either, but I started a new job where I was on my feet for several hours at a time carrying fairly heavy stuff around…

This is great, thanks :)

Totalling over 1200 calories is a good thing. Have a look through other peoples diaries for ideas

Usually 20+, I aim for about 25, and today I got 41 :) I need more really, I keep meaning to add oatbran to my smoothies
-
I do this every week but with 1.5L tupperwears, I make one for every workday and keep dressing seperate

Hi Kaylee I put your details into a TDEE calculator and came up with your TDEE being 2794 calories. It suggests you eat about 2200 calories a day to lose weight. However when i weighed 115kg, eating 14-1800 a day worked for me. I am 5ft 4 You basically need to eat less than 2794 a day, eating exactly 2794 will mean you…
