I never used to pay attention to what I ate, now I can't even imagine eating that.

This will be my 1st Holiday season while dieting/eating better and exercising. I do not plan on depriving myself of food, but I will control my portions and not over eat. And of course, keep exercising so I can burn all or most of my extra calories!

This is what works for me. Are you drinking enough water? Try replacing a meal a day with a protein shake with fruits. I never ate enough fruit and veggies, but now I make sure I get plenty. I agree with your post, I read somewhere that you shouldn't eat your exercise calories until you are closer to your goal weight.

I've never been a smoker, but I would say try quitting for sure. Walking, even if it's just 20-30 minutes a day to start. If you have a friend/spouse to walk with it's easier. Cut back on portions, I still eat a lot of what I always did but way, way less of it and use healthier ingredients to make it. Skip the bread, if…

You can use hot sauce instead of the taco seasoning and probably save some sodium. Use corn tortillas and make soft tacos or pile on top of lettuce, tomatoes, pinto beans, cheese, hot sauce and have a salad.

I have wondered the same thing. Sometimes I am hungry at bedtime, so I grab a few carrots or drink a big glass of water and I'm usually fine. I am losing, so even though it says I'm "starving" myself I don't think my body is reacting that way.

Wii Sports (I think it's called) comes with Boxing and there's a training section that has more boxing workouts as well.

I started noticing at about 12 pounds, but barely. I did not take an actual "before" full body picture. I should have, I'm down now about 18 pounds and it's equating to 2 sizes. Also, I have lost inches more than anything, be sure and measure your waist, arms, hips, thighs, etc.

I try to walk every day, 1 hour. Even if I can't, at least 45 crunches and 2 reps of 25 each leg lifts.
