One of my favorite breakfasts (in fact, I am having it today) is amaranth "oatmeal." Instead of oats, which are usually contaminated with gluten, I cooked amaranth in half milk and half water until it was creamy. Since you can't have dairy, try soy milk or almond milk for this. It's about a 3:1 ratio of liquid to grain.…

Awesome! You can do it! 7 days a week might be tough though. I'd recommend at least one day of rest in there somewhere.

I'm not familiar with Slimgenics, but I'll be interested to see what other people say.

I have the Mirena, and I've had no issues with gaining weight, trying to lose weight/inches. Plus, I have no more "that time of the month." It's fantatic and freeing!

I agree.

Good article and great tips! I love what he has to say about perfectionism.

I've loving seeing these photos!

Do you do dairy? There is a protein bar out there called Think Thin. They have about 20 grams of protein per bar and 0g of sugar. That doesn't mean they are carb free, but they're fairly low.

Great idea. I have some photos on my blog, but I'll figure out how to post some here... :)

I have a photo right now on my profile of me sans makeup and super sweaty after a workout. ;-)
-
Good luck! Let us know when you try that and see if there is a difference.

I agree to this. Concern yourself with the source, not sugar in general. And, if you feel it hitting your bloodstream too quickly, be sure to eat things with sugar with some protein (ie. fruit and cheese). It will take a little longer to digest that way.
-
Add some more protein. You have a lot of quickly digestable sugars in the fruits and the yogurt. Try Greek yogurt (Chobani Plain is about 100 calories for 6 ounces and contains 18 grams of protein) in the place of the Yoplait. But be warned, it's more sour. Or try some whey or soy protein powder in there if you like the…

I agree. And why wouldn't sugar and beans be included? Those things can be gathered.

I am posting one on my profile right now!

I agree! I think the diet guide says it estimates a 500 calorie burn for each workout though if you want a fairly general estimate.
-
I agree to this. I plan for an afternoon snack because I get hungry around that time (and it's also a time when there are a lot of sweet things around at my job and I want to stay on track.
-
This is 100% correct. Running is an aerobic exercise, and you need carbs.
-
Count me in!

I agree with the drop in blood sugar answer. Swimming is more of an exercise than most people think because it's also a lot of fun.

Whole grain waffles, topped with fresh or warmed frozen fruit and chopped almonds!

As someone before men mentioned, it's the same DVDs, just different schedule. I am doing it, and I find it to be worth it.
-
I like it a lot! I eat it pretty much everyday!
-
Pistachios!!! I love 'em.

I really enjoy the Kenpo workout. I'm always sweating like a pig when I'm finished with it. But, keep in mind, I'm still on week #3. That could change later.

I've been doing P90X for 3 weeks so far, and I love it. My results even to this point have been amazing. I've dropped very close to my goal weight, and I went from fitting into a size 8 pant to a size 6...in three weeks, that's pretty dang good.
-
That's awesome. Great motivation. I had kind of a similar thing happen to me. I went to the gym to work out on the elliptical trainer, and I noticed that my pants seemed to be falling down. It was kind of akward, but I kept working out and pulling them up so I didn't embarass myself... :-)

Awesome!
