  • OP, I don't agree that people are doing it blindly. I will always pull my friends up short if they are eating too little, but even if they've had a **** day, some of them need encouragement like "Big day, well logged" rather than WTG - I condone that cheeseburger and fries :) WTG may relate to the fact that they've logged,…
  • What a huge difference! Congratulations!
  • MFP's calorie burn is spot on for some activities, but completely out for others. For my husband, any cardio activity is almost the same as his HRM (He's very fit and 68kg). For me, (much MUCH MUCH heavier), it's accurate on low impact activities, but completely wrong for cardio (too high) and weights (too low). I use a…
  • 1000's of posts on not eating enough to maintain weight loss. Do a search and you'll see why it's important to stick with MFP's recommendations.
  • I get it a lot, and if it's bad, something that works for me is baby oil gel applied to wet skin, straight out of the shower. It really helps with the tightness and stinking when it cracks etc, because I find the skin is softened by my shower, and the baby oil gel retains the elasticity that the moisture gives. Because…
  • And also - you don't need to be fat to have the bloating associated with IBS. It's all about shape.
  • No, not being too picky. Those of us with pics other than ourselves haven't gotten to the point where we're proud of our accomplishments I guess. I love seeing before and afters as well! But mine is insignificant at only 37lb lost, so instead, I have a pair of killer heels on legs that I aspire to :)
  • I love the dress and I love the shoes, but I don't think they match :( I don't like mis-matched shoes on anyone, sorry! BUT if you like them, and you aren't worried about it (yes, have seen this look in the magazines) then go for it! You're the only person you have to impress! Congrats on the awesome loss xx
  • well done honey!

  • Like Cmh1211 said, they are high in sodium, and usually high in GI 9white rice, potato, pastas) but they tick the calorie box, and when you are simply out of time, then YES, use them. I needed to kickstart my diet when i first started, so used them for almost every meal and it was great - for about 1000 calories I could…
  • Absolutely normal with 30DS. Trust me, in day 5 or 6, you won't remember how bad this feels, because you have such a rapid improvement in your fitness on 30DS. Enjoy it!! And in the meantime have a nice soak for the hurting legs. i sympathize - i've been there!
  • Buying from Lane Bryant will be different from a fitting by a qualified consultant. if you have had a fitting and thi is still the case (poking underwires, shallow cups) then she wasn't very good at her job. I'd definitely go back and make an appointment for a fitting. Take the bras in you purchased last time on the…
  • Yes, I count them (add into MFP) but I don't restrict them. You need to keep up your strength when you're fighting an infection, so switch it up to maintenance mode and ABSOLUTELY don't exercise if you don't feel up to it.
  • Yes! been pregnant twice with no thanks to the NHS. we've been trying for 13 years. it is possible!!
  • It doesn't get deactivated. Ever. My best friend died 3 years ago and occasionally Facebook comes up and says "write on Margaret's Wall..." At that point you have to laugh or you cry :ohwell:
  • Make you a deal, you do the workout that allows you the 2000 calories you need for a pizza, then order it.

  • "this seat is saved!!!" from the seat saving incident episode. 10 years on my husband and I still refuse to save seats for each other (or at least joke about it) lol
  • I can't sing, I've got a sore finger! The Sound of music.
  • My husband (then fiance) gave it up before the wedding for three months which was only possible because we were on opposite sides of the world. I tell ya, when he flew in, our resolve crumbled... it was about 1 hour after he landed  Never again!!
  • I have an old polar, about 10 years old now and the same thing happens,. It's no big deal, as most people around you are probably wearing them as well. My husband's Polar has a stronger signal than mine so if we work out side by side my machine takes his measurement. I don't really care, because I'm interested in the…
  • Go the ones with the yoghurt filling. 2 per pack, very filling and delicious! However, throw a piece of fruit in as well.
  • Black Books is a must-see!
  • I can't wait to give my husband his gift. It's an Axe throwing and beer tasting day. Am I the best wife ever? That's what I'm aiming for
  • I can relate as well, and I found the same thing, weight gain so I wouldn't be attractive etc (for me it was a recurring event from a family friend) but that didn't work, then years and years of beating myself up about it, getting fatter, disliking myself.... But something happened to me that is different to the advice…
  • put yourself in her shoes. If she knew your husband was cheating and hadn't told you, would it damage your relationship once you found out? For me it's a no-brainer, I'd tell. I'd be furious if I found out my friends knew and didn't tell me.
  • You won't get much targeted advice until you make your diary available.
  • We have some friends who live on an old railway site. They built the house on the vacant land. Their diningroom wall has a face in it (plasterboard), so they decided to paint over it. The face came through again so they painted again, same thing. They then wallpapered over it, the face came through, and so then they put…
  • It agrees with me much more than dairy (which I love) or soy. I also love coconut milk (Kara) but Almond milk is creamier so great for coffee... Only problem is in the UK it's about £3 per litre... about twice the price of Kara and about a trillion times the price of milk!
  • Naaah, awesome source of protein so as long as it's in your calorie limit, go for it!
  • Uh, no! I don't care who's in the gym at the same time as me, as my focus is on me at the gym, no-one else. Sorry ladies, but the suffragettes would be rolling in their graves for this. Equality is not to be taken lightly, and so I think Ladies only gyms/sections are as sad as "Gentlemen only" clubs.
