  • I used to be able to but now can only handle 6 inches (easy, tiger!) My standard is 6 inch turkey and ham, no cheese no toast and all veggies except corn (DOES NOT BELONG ON A SANDWICH!) and olives, which I love but the ones they use at UK subway are too salty.

  • "*****" meredith brooks :) Ok bleepy police, it's a song title! B1tch
  • Dear Boss, Whilst I love to hear about your "weekly" exercise session with your PT (the only exercise you do), please forgive me if I don't hang onto your every word about nutrition (and how I'm doing it wrong) while you force feed yourselves donuts and chocolate. Sincerely, the girl who won't discuss anything with you…

  • Hi there, I aim for 4 or 5 workouts per week. Feel free to add!
  • Then you would be a fool. When I was diagnosed with diabetes 2 years ago, the GP asked me (!) how much medication i should take. They haven't offered any advice, an eating plan or education. And do you know how I have managed to reverse my diabetes and high blood pressure? Research. Trial and error. Discussion with people…
  • What DO you go to the gym to do? The mind boggles :)
  • I'm not embarrased I love it, but I'm embarrased at how passionately I sing along when I hear "Don't Stop Beleiving" by Journey. When Glee revived it and the airplay increased, oh I was warbling daily no-holes-barred!
  • bexdc - we're soul sisters :)
  • Yes. Hated it but 3 days in my strength improved considerably. End of first week I could do the pushups and now I love it. And trust me, I'm on the "MUCH" heavier end of the spectrum.
  • You can set up your own exercise in MFP. If you don't have an HRM (which is the most accurate method) then google "zumba calories burned" and there are a load of calculators out there. Once you have an exercise in, and the rate of calories you burn, you can add your time twice a week and it should calculate your burn.…

  • Great post, although I'd have to disagree with the GP bit. Not in the UK. They are allocated 7 minutes to have you in and out... how can a "factory worker" (albeit with a degree) understand your issues well enough to make a sensible diagnosis? That's why forums like this are great. Discussion, backed up by a LOT of…
  • Your thighs are much better defined now, and your shoulders have lost their fat. Your waist is skinnier as well. You've done really well!
  • Jasper thinks he's a dog. He likes to play in and with water, will rough-house on the ground, and tries to bark. His sister Jinx thinks he's a freak.
  • Uh... SO glad I'm not in the dating game. WOW
  • Hell yeah! That women will take inches off you in a matter of weeks
  • No I don't, but I know that's part of the journey - acceptance and all that jazz. One day...
  • This is not an HCG friendly site... But you willfind supporting groups for it if you search. Pregnant pee is not for me, especially when a co sistently low carb, low cal diet with exercise and balancing supplements make a world of difference. Because lets face it, whether you're ingesting pregnant pee or not, any 500…

  • I have a scar shaped like a spider. I plan on getting a tail tattooed onto it to make it a scorpion.
  • Here's the thing though... proven scientific research isn't absolute. It still has different effects on different people with different body types and different ailments. I DO want to hear from people similar to me, about their experience. Do you know why? Because my doctor is an idiot. Because sometimes things that aren't…
  • payday tomorrow and in desperate need of new knickers.. old ones are too big :) also new yoga pants because i'm tripping on my old ones
  • in the uk they are shocking, if they pack your bags at all. Milk and tins on top of your bread. bleach in with your fruit and veg. Throwing stuff in the bag like it's a hacky sack...I pack my own where i can cos it sh!ts me to tears when people are that uninterested in doing a good job.
  • I find MFP is way out. I have an HRM and a BodyBugg and find them both relatively consistent, except during weight training where the bodybugg is next to useless. I have a 45 minute routine that can vary by up to 300 calories depending on the effort I put in; i was tired last night and only burnt 500-odd, but the same…
  • As halothane said, having your run analysed is a great start, but also those places can make the moulded insoles for you so you can pop that into any shoe until you can afford a really good running shoe. The insoles are designed for your foot shape. They cost about £30-40 here in the UK, probably cheaper in the US. My…
  • Yep, I'm from Kent and we definitely do it here - mainly around bonfire night
  • 163 days for me :)
  • Prince (or Duke) Aberfeldy. Waaaaaay too posh for a pornstar lol
  • 3 months for me; chances are an absence that long means they aren't coming back, and if they do It will probably be under a different account.
