Great job! You look beautiful!

Yes, I have PCOS and diabetes so low-carb (but not no-carb) is the only choice for me. I'm set to 30% carbs in my diet breakdown and it seems to be working. Feel free to add me!

def increase calories. It makes a huge difference!

I have the had the same effect with cutting out dairy, from 2-3 migraines (lasting up to 6 days at a time) per month. I find it's aggravated by skipping meals, and skipping sleep. It's a pain to have to be so vigilant about my sleep (like a child!) but it's worth it not have the constant pain in my head. I would advise…

if you dislike it that much, DON'T eat it!

Absolutely normal. When your body is in synch, it does what it's designed for... and procreating is what every species' #1 goal is :) Enjoy it Honey!

I just snorted my shake :)

Well see, this is my point. You've said something which is your honest opinion, and it's not wrong. It's what you believe. Others who are more mature or ready for a family at 21, and may consider that children being "bad karma" is an insensitive statement. There will be a lot of people that disagree with you. They aren't…

I sympathize with your situation, I had the same problem with facebook, but I chose to accept almost all those requests, and have decided to get to know those people afresh, and in turn let them get to know me. And do you know what? Some of them are good friends now. And some who I was great friends with in high school are…

It's easy to find free internet these days, in libraries, McDonalds etc. It's easy to jump to conclusions, but we never have the full story on a forum. You have to give everyone the benefit of doubt.

If you have local markets you can usually get big sacks of potatoes for next to nothing... and loads of other fruit and veg for excellent prices, particularly if it's the end of the market day (where they try to get rid of everything cheap). I'm so sorry you are living like this. But I applaud you seeking advice on a…

Is it just me or did very few of those actually look like a salad? Thanks for sharing :)

Hiya - you might like to open up your diary so people can make educated suggestions, however your rate of loss is spot-on. Keep at it, it's worth it! Well done on your loss so far :flowerforyou:

I love my fruit and veggies, I am all over this challenge like a rash :)

I am at the same stage and I've bought a couple of staples - things like new trousers which are a necessity. For tops I've started getting imaginative because I can't afford to replace everything now and then again in a few months... some of my shirt and tunic type tops, I've started to wear as dresses. I'm using belts now…

Congratulations! this seems like a pipe dream for me but to hear your story gives us PCOS girls some hope :)

Sleep has a huge effect on weight loss. Definitely need it to let your body recover, metabolise etc. However, your weight loss averages are good. 1lb a week is spot on, and a consistent number that will more likely stay off.

I wrote a blog on this a little while ago, as I too have suffered with depression. I hope it helps: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/netchik/view/dealing-with-depression-drug-free-175474

I shower naked. Does that count?

There are loads of us on here with PCOS. Don't despair. You CAN lose weight, but yes, it is hard. Getting a good idea of your deficiencies is a great place to start because balancing your hormones / chemicals is going to CHANGE your life! It's not all bad news, I promise, the weight battle is one you can win :)

I do, but only if I break a sweat doing it. We both wore an HRM for a session to guage the burn, then we used MFP's tool to create an exercise. However, for the "slow and sweet" kind, we don't log it. Only for the vigorous and calorie-burning type :)
-
It depends on the person. I log EVERYTHING which a lot of my friends find hilarious. Even if I have a blowout day, logging 17 crisps (or whatever other junk) may look bad, but I get encouraged by my friends for being accountable. Maybe that's what people mean - good job that even if you've had a crap day, you've been…

OMG I've just come back from Croatia and they served it at every meal including breakfast and it was delicious!!. Thanks for recipe suggestions - I'm going to try it myself!!!

I should add My body doesn't deal with potato very well, it screws with my sugars, so potato, even in moderation is a last resort.

I have 2 british blues and they are insane. The girl "cleans" anything with fur or feathers, and steals anything that sparkles. The boy thinks he is a dog and plays fetch, loves water, and barks. Especially at other animal intruders. He meows when he talks to us, and sings every night from his bathtub. Oh and neither of…

My next goal is a falconry experience. I can't wait! Am currently enjoying the spoils of my first goal, spa weekend. LUSH!! The only thing I'd say about putting money aside, is that it's easy to dip into. You want to avoid that at all costs!
