I am 30 weeks pregnant with our first, and my doctor too talked about my weight gain as excessive at our last visit yesterday. I would love to have some friends to help and get help through the third trimester to eat healthier and be more active! :)

My MIL to my husband, after not seeing us for over three months: "What, have you stopped feeding her?!" :D Haha! No, I've just finally gotten into the healthy BMI range by eating right and exercising!

Unfortunately I don't have any helpful suggestions for you, as I am in the same boat! I carry all my weight in my butt and thighs, and for years have avoided wearing shorts altogether! I am interested in hearing people's suggestions, I think this summer I am finally comfortable enough with by body to wear shorts!

I just got my DVD in the mail today, and am so excited to start tomorrow after hearing all of your stories! I don't know if I will do it every day... What do you guys do to fit it in with your other exercises? I try to run 2-3 miles with my husband 2-3 times a week, and I don't know if I'll be able to do both a shred level…

I am 5'6" and originally started at 186 to lose weight in 2010. My first goal was just to get in the healthy BMI range, which I am right now at 153. I hope to lose another 10-15 pounds to get around 140. Once I reach that goal, I think I'll be happy. :)

For me, I don't consider any of my normal daily activities as exercise. This includes doing dishes, laundry, walking to and from class, walking while shopping, etc. However, my day as a student is not as physically demanding as yours. The only things I count as exercise are things that I go out of my way to do as exercise…

I think what they mean is that under the "add exercise" under cardio exercise, you can type in "strength training" and it will add an exercise with the calories burned under cardio.

I created a "Wii Zumba" under the add exercise tab and usually put in the calories burned that it gives you at the end of the workout (I have Zumba 2 for Wii). I don't have a HRM, but hearing from others on this site who do, the calories they show at the end of the workout seem fairly accurate.
