I'm in the same boat and my son is 8 months. I started therapy for postpartum depression and am slowly getting better. Working out and turning use to be such a stress reliever for me and hoping I can get back to that instead of laying around hating myself! We can both get to that point, no doubt! :#

Bumping...so I can post my "after"

day 3 done! I had to take my first rest day yesterday, even though I really didn't want to. My body was just so exhausted and it needed a rest even if my mind didn't. I'm now glad I did it though, I slept better and my shins and back feel so much better now!
-
I am now on day 22 with no rest and most days I feel more tired than energized (which is normally how I feel when I start working out). Is this the same kind of thing you experienced?
-
Day 1 of level 3 = done! Glad that my abs are FINALLY starting to really get a work out!
-
I just finished level 2 (yay!!!) and I don't know about anyone else but I feel like my abs aren't be worked enough. My arms and legs are definitely more toned but abs are the same as day 1. Because of this, I going to do 6 week 6 pack after 30 DS. I also started running again so hopefully my abs will finally get definition…

Done with level 2!!!!!! Only 10 more days! :drinker:
-
Day 6 is done! I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever finish this level without stopping :frown:
-
Day 5 done! All the jumping in the cardio has given me horrible shin splints :grumble: Luckily the pain doesn't get unbearable until after the workout. Thank God for Tylenol :drinker: Is anyone else experiencing this and how are you dealing with it?
-
Day 4 done! Getting closer to finishing w/o stopping. After yesterday I def learned how important it is to eat shortly before working out. If I don't I can barely finish half of the moves  I love having fruit and yogurt or wheat toast with pb/nutella. What's your fav pre-workout meal/snack?
-
I'm the same way! I hate people watching me...I always tell my boyfriend to find something to do for 30 mins. He's amazing and will either go somewhere or go to watch TV in the bedroom till I'm done. I'm so thankful he's understanding

Level 2 Day 3 done! All those plank positions so close together KILL my shoulders!! I still can't get through the very last ab workout, not because my abs hurt but because my shoulders/arms can't hold my body up for the whole time
-
Started level 2 yesterday and holy shizzz! That is too crazy! I know it seemed impossible to get through but then I realized, I never thought I'd get through level 1 w/o stopping and I did that, didn't I? :drinker: So, bring it on Jillian!
-
Ok, thanks! I didn't know if the whole thing could go in water or not and since I spent a lot of money on it, I didn't want to ruin it!
-
Doing level one day 9 today! Kind of nervous to start level 2 :ohwell:
-
It's a toss up between squat and press & side lunge w/ anterior raises  I HATE anterior raises more so bc I never use those arm muscles. However, by day 8 I am now able to get through all of them!!

I didn't suggest anything. Go back. Read the whole thing. I said I was curious about people that tried it and what effects/results they had.
-
THANK YOU!! you are clearly the ONLY person that responded and read the entire thing. I never freaking said I was doing this folks. I was just curious about the results. I am on a healthy lifestyle change and exercising right. Read the whole post before jumping to conclusions. :noway:

That's so great! :drinker: I just finished week 3 day 1 of C25k. I'm also doing it on a treadmill but that's because I'm in the mid-west and it's way too cold to run outside most days. My goal is to finish the program on the treadmill then go outside when it warms up and work on stamina/speed there. I'm running a 5k in…

I agree with the previous statements. Feel free to add

Have you tried oatmeal smoothies? You can find tons of recipies by just using Bing or Google. The best part? You can make them the night before and leave them in the fridge to grab and go in the AM. I also know people that make a large batch at once and freeze them for weeks at a time.
