Hmmm...well that didn't go so well. A year later with on/off logging and I'm up about 20 lbs. Back to it...

I did my first 5k using C25k, then a year later my first 10k, then started training for Half. I mostly used the Runner's World Smartcoach app and on the website and found it worked pretty well. Though I did keep to only 3 runs per week as I found I had issues when pushing to 4 per. Increase gradually and I also greatly…

Well I survived my time away with no weigh-ins and no tracking for a month. During that time, I did unfortunately did indulge in more candy and sweets than I should have, so I've still got some work to do for sure! I went on to try B210k after that and in hindsight, I was pushing too hard and got severe shin splits, etc. I went for it again, with more…

I've run on the treadmill once and don't know that I can ever do it again! I much prefer running outside, even if it's 20F and dark than running inside on the treadmill. I probably think about 100 things on a given run, but no themes really -- it's a chance to let the mind wander. I have listened to music or Podcasts on…

125 today! It's all about consistency and that keeping the consecutive days going up is just one more motivation! Awesome on the 415 days!

I was going to suggest Bodyglide (haven't used it myself but have heard good things). Also, search for special lacing techniques for reducing heal movement in the shoes.
