Definately let your body rest! It will do no good to push yourself when you are sick. Try to increase your calorie intake and get extra rest. Otherwise you will find yourself sick far longer than necessary.

I log everything. Some days that I feel I have over done myself alot. I will log it and realize I am only a few hundred over my calorie goal. I think it just depends on the person really. Your BMR is the number of calories you can eat to maintain your body weight with zero activity. So I think if you spend 3 hours cleaning the house one day that it should be calculated. I don't count doing dishes or laundry if that is all I am doing. But if I am doing alot of…

I have a scale I got from Walmart for like 6.00 it's just simple, measures oz and has a measuring cup on top. It's small so it fits anywhere and functional. I don't need fancy gadgets. lol

I have done alot of research on the "excercise ball" you can do so many different workouts with it and tone up! You could even get one at walmart for super cheap.
