hey, ikiness, are you using a calorie counter or a heart rate monitor? when i enter in 20 minutes of circuit training for the dvd, i only get like 170... i did day 7 too.. whoa, its actually getting harder as the days progress, but i lost a pound and an inch off my waist so i think the added element of strength helps...

its interesting you say you love the side lunges. i can't stand them. i can't tell if im doing them right plus i have no strength in that part of my arm muscles... im thinking i should get a heart rate monitor too... sounds like it may make my calorie count more accurate!

hows everyone doing on this? day 5... whoo hoo!! i had to do it at 10 oclock tonight... that was hard :-( curious, what is everyone's least favorite move on this dvd? i hate the lunge to the side and lift the weights to eye level... i have no strength that way!

i'm doing the 30 day shred... whoa, it's a killer! i felt the need to do some cardio, so tonight i roller bladed for an hour then did the shred... O-M-G... killer!!!

welcome!!! :-) i'm like you too, too high a BMI... i'm 34 and had a BMI of 27.3, but since i've joined, its dropped to 25.6 so being on here, and the supportive environment, has really helpful and i hope it helps you too!!!

thanks for the heads up... now i know what i have in store... i do want to lose another 4 lbs by the end of the month so i'm hoping this will do it, but i'm sure you're right, i can't expect much weight loss.i think i'm gonna have to kick it up a notch and add my version of cardio in there...

thanks for explaining the difference... I'm a huge fan of Biggest Loser, and try to work out on every commercial (run on the spot, sit ups etc) so that I feel like i'm doing a bit better than just sitting on the couch, watching people get fit. i'll have to check out the 30day shread though!

well, i'm on my 11th glass of water today, and i perservered (sp?) through a rain storm, and pushed past my goal of 5Km and did 6 KM jog :bigsmile: glad to see everyone did so well on skinny wednesday :drinker: can't wait for the next challenge!!! these are great!!! have a fantastic day, fg :flowerforyou:
