Again, NO. Why are you copying and pasting the same reply to different topics?

I love ice cream, but it's hard for me to not put away the whole pint. I've been eating sorbet here lately instead. I can have a whole lot more for fewer calories, and I prefer the fresher taste of it anyway.

I definitely have days that I feel like I'm bigger than I was 90 lbs ago. I've come up with a couple reasons: 1. I don't lose weight uniformly. So, sometimes my hips and boobs lose weight before my stomach, and until my stomach catches up, it looks HUGE. It's still smaller than it used to be, it's just an optical illusion.…

What kind of workouts do you do? Find something you enjoy. That might mean not going to a gym...maybe go to a park, run a little, swing from the monkey bars, etc. Don't limit yourself to a gym.
-
It happens. At one point, I had lost over 50 lbs. I then gained 70....putting me higher than I had ever been. Why do you think you gained it back? Were you mentally not ready for the change? Was your deficit too aggressive? Do you not handle stress well...are you an emotional eater? Those are all things to think about.…

What lifts do you do? What weight did you start at, and what do you lift now?

Maybe he's trying to hide a body.

Sometimes is just happens, whether it's from lack of sleep, perhaps getting a bit sick, etc. I had been pulling 225 on deadlifts for a while, and then had one day where I just couldn't get it off the ground. It was a fluke, and since then I've been just fine.

Are you really this dense, or are you just looking for a fight? Sheesh. Just don't eat it then. More deliciousness for me.

Their calculator gives 190 calories for 4 oz of rice, which is about 1 scoop. If you order rice, and watch them throw scoop after scoop in there, whose damn fault is that?
-
It's not Chipotles fault though. I get a burrito. The shell is ~300. When they add the rice, I make sure to tell them only one scoop, and normally I'll make sure it's a small scoop. Then one scoop of chicken. I tell them a little cheese, and I get lettuce. It's logged as 770 calories - I throw an extra 100 on to cover any…

In honor of this thread, I had three servings of Cinnamon Toast Crunch for dinner. I'm sure I'll be dead by morning as a result, but death sure did taste good going down.

I have my kneecap taped right now. I have a subluxating patella, and it's been giving me fits here lately. I wouldn't say that the tape is fixing anything, but it's helping to support it, keep it in the right place, and as a result I've been experiencing less pain. I can definitely tell that my kneecap doesn't move around…

So, that means I'd have to pull 450. As a woman. Well, that's about 8,576,394 lightyears away, but hey! good goal.

Pretty much all of it has been touched on, I just have one thing to add. If you need to talk yourself into a lift, do it standing up. The longer you stay in that bent position, the more hamstring strength you lose. Don't drop into your stance until you're ready to go down and grab it.
-
Do you sleep well though? Toss and turn? I can tell you 8 hours isn't enough for me to not feel exhausted...right now I'm needing 9-10 hours a night to keep up with my training and give my body time to repair itself. Anything less and I feel the need to crawl under my desk and take a nap.

Body Glide! I was way too excited when I walked 10+ miles on vacation last weekend in HOT weather, and had NO chafing. Seriously, this stuff is awesome.

I'm not particularly shy about my weight anymore. But, there's a significant amount of distance between the original 265 lb me, and the new 175 lb me. As that distance grows, it becomes easier to talk about who I used to be, what I did to change it, and who I am now.
-
I wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure there are times that people have thought I'm rude at the gym - in reality, I go to the gym right after work. On days when I'm stressed out or something went wrong at work, I carry it into the gym. I might be "huffing and puffing", but not necessarily because I'm waiting for a rack.

Naw. Gotta slam it fast...you get a bigger belch that way.

I prefer Powerade Zero.

I have had past hip flexor issues - this is what worked for *me*. I had to deload my squats....by a LOT. I went about 6 weeks without squatting at all, and during that time did a massive deload on my deadlifts as that was causing mild pain as well. Once I started squatting again, my squats dropped from 195 lbs down to…

I had hip flexor pain last year - related to my squatting, not running. I decreased activity (and actually took a total break from squats for a while) and stretched. It's a difficult area to stretch, but I found the pigeon pose helped a lot. I would probably not run again until you're pain free though - continuing to…

Just because your clothes are tighter doesn't mean it's fat. I gain water weight around my period. My jeans get tight and uncomfortable. I didn't gain fat - I'm just swollen and bloated from the extra water.

Meh. I'll take my chances. We all die from something. ETA: Also, "double the risk of death from any other cause"....am I more likely to die from a car crash because I eat extra protein????

I like my friends with a dash of salt and a side of sarcasm.
