Did the box list dry weight at all? If not, I (personally) would weigh the whole amount cooked, and then portion out what you want and calculate the calories. Rice and such should be weighed raw/dry due to cooking variance, and that's rather not smart on the manufacturer's part to not list the dry serving weight.

 Alrighty then. I'll be sure to let all my awesome marathon friends know how awful their bodies look. :indifferent:

I take Moderate Calorie Deficit.

Also deadlifts.

Oh look. This again.

Monday: Deadlifts and accessory work. Run a couple miles. Tuesday: Run Wednesday: Squat and accessory work. Thursday: Run Friday: OHP and Bench plus accessory work. Run a couple miles. Saturday: Long run Sunday: Off I am with the poster that recommends a beginner program. Winging it in the gym doesn't really work if you're…

Why would I want to be under on protein and fat?

Road ID. If you have more issues than can be abbreviated on the bracelet, they have an interactive one. It gives the doctor/EMT a number to call or a website to go to where they can view your extensive medical history.

I'm stuck on this. What do you mean by the above? Also, are you sure they didn't mean your username? I don't know why they'd ask you to provide your password.

Strong 10th post. I like you.

It's also "argh" not "arg".

I think your plan sounds great. Because you have don't have a huge amount to lose, I'd recommend weighing every day and logging in either an app or on Excel. Your trend line will be far more reassuring that your plan is working than the scale will be. Some people can't handle weighing every day, but if you treat it like…

Not if you buy used, or if you know someone handy. I have a few on my FL that have built their own. Play It Again Sports, Craigslist, etc will have used lifting equipment, sometimes at really great prices.

If budget isn't much of an issue, a power cage.
-
How many calories are you eating? And what is your average macro (protein, carbs, fat) breakdown per day?
-
Oh. In that case: I once sat on one of those. The embarrassing part was it stuck to my butt.

I started at Snap. I thought it was a great newbie gym. Mine had free weights and a squat rack that no one else used, so that was awesome. I was there about a year, and then my local one closed and I moved to a bodybuilding gym.

LMAO at 23. I will never forget my first half. It rained the entire time, and we were soaked and freezing. Some kind soul gave me some company for a while at Mile 11, and I just looked at him and said "I need a sammich so. bad. right now".

Anything that is core focused or requires me to brace my core for a long period of time - planks and triceps push downs seem to be the worst. I can *do* them, but my muscles start quivering and it's just generally uncomfortable. I've been this way for as long as I can remember, and "getting stronger" at the exercise…

Unfortunately, it doesn't take very many runs in bad shoes to hurt yourself. I fractured my foot with ONE run in cheap Wal-Mart shoes.

Depends on what my calorie and macro allowance is at that moment. I love Pringles, but can't justify the calories for so little nutrition. I buy the fat free - still get the crunch and salt, with only a fraction of the calories. Ice cream? Full fat, all the way.

Last 5/3/1 cycle I got 210x3. I'd like to be at 2 plates by the end of the year.

I had someone tell me once that women shouldn't lift because our hearts aren't strong enough. I might have made this face at her:  If we're equipped to push another human being out of our vagina, I think I'll take my chances with lifting. The only side effect I've ever noticed is boosted self-confidence and extra…

I never ate at the college cafeteria for that reason. It was so loud, and a ton of people around. There were always groups waiting to pounce on your table as soon as you were finished. I prefer to eat by myself or only with people I know, in a quiet place. I dislike loud restaurants for the same reason - it makes me…

I still have a bit too much body fat to get a good flex, but the veins in my forearms are visible now. I like to feel them at the end of a workout when they're pumped full of blood...I've never been able to before. :blushing:

I've done a 3,000, ~8,000, and ~15,000 half marathon. The big one was my least favorite. The course was very crowded the entire time, and it was hard to settle into a spot to run without dodging constantly. The 3,000 got a little lonely in the later miles. The medium race was perfect. Great crowd support, I wasn't getting…

Just slow down. I dropped from a 12:00 min forever pace, to around a 13:00. Sometimes I feel like I'm crawling, but if I go much faster I wear down too quickly to get my miles in.
