I was fully expecting a Dune reference. My nerd is showing.

I feel like we've all somehow gotten distracted from the most important issue, though... What IS going to happen to my boobs?

308 was my highest as well, but I'm only 5'3.

Almost every sentence that begins with the word "actually". It is almost always followed by douchery.
-
That pretty much sums it up.

I'm 5'3, started at 300lbs and a size 26, now I'm at 250 and sitting somewhere between a 20 and a 22. Amazing to be down that many sizes, awful being right in between. There is no such thing as a pair of pants that fit me right now.

I'm 31, mom of a 9 year old boy. Been working on this since September, but I have a long way to go.

I consider it cheating when I eat something that I know I won't be able or willing to work off. I know I'm only going to feel like doing a 20 minute walk, but I'm eating this burrito anyway... I call that a cheat.

When I was 15 I had my first job at a restaurant. There was a deaf man, probably in his 60's who would come in almost every day and make fun of me using hand gestures. He would puff out his cheeks and hold his arms out to show how big my stomach was, and then point to the other girls and make the hourglass gesture, to show…

Seriously. It's just so weird the way that happens. Even now, at 31, my mom is watching me lose this weight and decided that she would diet too because "If you can lose this much, it should be a snap for me". I guess I just always looked at it as part of growing up in our house.

I ate 14 Triple Ginger Snaps tonight. I just couldn't stop going back. A serving is 6, so there were several "just one more" cookies.

If you have a Trader Joe's near you, their Better N Peanut Butter is amazing, and with less fat, calories and sodium than regular peanut butter. Plus it tastes like it has honey mixed in. Love that stuff.

It's weird to me that I'm realizing now how much I never really counted the bullying by my family. It was just part of day to day life. My sister was a tiny, cute gymnast, so I never defended myself when she made fun of me for being overweight because I felt like she was right. My mom put on weight watchers for the first…

Absolutely I was. It started round 7th grade for me and actually got so bad that my parents had me in therapy to deal with it because they genuinely thought I would kill myself. It didn't help that my last name was the same as a VERY famous pig. That just made it too easy.

Feel free to add me... you can't have too many friends.

I rotate through the following: 1) avena (recipe from skinnytaste, but I use equal instead of sugar) 2) peanut butter banana spinach smoothie (recipe also from skinnytaste) 3) broccoli mini omelets (skinnytaste... surprise) 4) plain oatmeal with a little sugar free blackberry jam mixed in I eat an apple with all of the…

I didn't know being able to flip your tongue over in both directions was a talent... I honestly thought everyone could do that. I learned today! I can lick my nose and I can do an amazing large mouth bass impression.

Yeah, the goal on here is crazy low. I only eat one meal a day with any meat in it and I'm still usually over by at least half.

Because I don't publicly talk about the fact that I'm actively trying to lose weight, what I deal with mostly is people take it as an insult when I don't want to eat their food. I work in a place where people are constantly bringing in cookies and donuts and candy. There's actually a freezer full of just ice cream. People…

I've found that I'm not one of those people who feels energized after a workout. I feel downright sleepy, so I exercise in the evening. Exercise, shower, pre-bed/post-workout snack, TV time, bed.

I blame cows. You can't just walk around, being all delicious, producing key ingredients for the cheese that makes you even more delicious, and not expect to be held accountable in some way. It's not right.

I went to the doctor for an ear infection, got on the scale and found out that I had officially joined the 300 club. I couldn't handle it.

I felt the same way when I was younger. I watched those movies as a kid and just hated them.

I actually dated a guy who tried to defend Aquaman... it didn't last, I just couldn't take him seriously after that.

I own six pairs: 2 pairs flip flops 2 pairs boots 2 pairs tennis shoes

I actually just changed mine. Originally I had a picture of me in an Ironman mask at a toy store, but then I started hating looking at a picture of me 50 lbs ago, so I switched to just my face, with a much smaller double chin, which makes me happy.

I'm in Louisville. Feel free to add me.

I completely agree. My mom has watched my progress and now wants to pay me to cook her dinners for her because she thinks she'll have the same results. I just want to shake her. She just doesn't realize how much work has been involved. I've changed everything about the way I eat, not just dinner. I've added so much…

Congrats! The first person who noticed for me was a guy I work with and he felt so awkward about saying something that instead of asking if I'd lost weight, he asked if I'd bought a new shirt because it seemed like it fit better. Considering it was a shirt that hadn't fit me in well over a year, I was overjoyed.
