snacking HELPS me lose weight! it helps to keep me from becoming extremely hungry prior to meal time and completely over-eating. snacks are great as long as the are included in your calorie allowance. looks like you're doing a great job so far! i eat a lot of sugar free jello pudding, no sugar added fudgesicles, pickles,…

i had that problem too and i don't remember the exact number but i can tell you how i figured it out... i dumped the entire container (new) and counted the number of tomatoes in the container and then looked at the total ounces (i think it was 10 or 11 total) and then just divided it out from there. i think i figured about…

being more active, aiming for less than 2 hours of screen time per day (including computers, video games, tv, etc), and not drinking calories (soda, juice, whole milk - drink 1% instead) is an excellent place to start. don't make a huge deal out of it, and try to make it fun! you guys are doing what you can to start living…

umm, i pretty much live on lean cuisine dinners. they have quite a few i like. they are high in sodium but for me it's a quick and easy meal and i love the fact that i know how many calories i'm getting (since someone else has already measured it all out for me).

i've made completing my entry one of the last things i do at night to avoid this issue. it's basically part of my bed time routine: wash my face, let the dogs out one last time, brush my teeth, complete my entry, go to bed. might seem a little silly but it helps me.

are you selling things other than eye make up?

mine's usually pretty close.

orthostatic hypotension is the medical term for getting dizzy when you get up too quickly from a lying or sitting position. the best way to relieve that is to get up slowly (if you're lying down, get to a sitting position and stay there for 30 seconds or so before standing). dizziness can be caused by blood rushing to your…

i buy all my jeans at the Buckle. dress pants are more difficult but i have fallen in love with BCBG brand. a little on the expensive side but they have awesome sales (got a pair of $300 pants for $60 once... and they're gorgeous!). the great thing about the BCBG pants is that they're already long but there's also usually…

5'10" here! I don't really wear heel that often, mostly because i'm ridiculously clumsy and i would probably break an ankle (or my neck) if i wore them a lot. thankfully i fell in love with and married a man that is 6'4" so if we're dressing up and i WANT to wear heels i can (without towering over him)... it's great!…

yeah, i pretty much couldn't do this without sugar free chocolate pudding cups (60 cals) or no sugar added fudgesicle bars (40 cals)! i also eat the chocolate flavored rice cakes every now and then... and at the moment i'm having a cup of sugar free hot cocoa (60 cals). did i mention i have a pretty bad sweet tooth?

he was told he wasn't allowed to go because of prior behavior. if you already told him he wasn't going and you allow him to go now then he won't believe you next time you tell him he's going to suffer consequences for his actions. his teacher needs to mind her own business!

oh my goodness! so glad you're ok!!! having been attacked by a pit bull and then encountering an unleashed rottweiler while on a bike ride (with a 2 year old child in a trailer on the back of my bike) i can certainly relate to the adrenalin rush. thankfully i wasn't chased, i can only imagine how scary that must have been!…

my personal opinion is that 1000 cals per day isn't enough. if you want to lose 2 lbs a week then i would recommend exercising to increase your daily caloric requirements. if you burn at least 250 cals per day thru exercise then you can eat 1250 cals per day and still lose 2 lbs a week.
