Hi, I'm Anne, I live in Plymouth and am permanently losing and regaining that last 10lb. I'm 53, married, one child still at school and the other one already left home. I need some support to finally lose the weight and keep it off! My main motivation is that all my wardrobe is the same size, and I don't want to replace…

I've seen it done but I can't bear marshmallow - uck, too squishy and not in a good way. My daughter is very fond of marshmallow fluff - not so easy to get in the UK, don't know where she got the habit!

That is gorgeous, where did you get it? I'm shopping for a table to sit 9/10 people.

Apple pancakes, possibly with raisins as well?

I'd never assume it's going to take months; my sister and I have always got pregnant straight away (I had my children in my mid-thirties), and there are at least four little accidents in my extended family!

Goulash, if you have any paprika? that would use onion, green pepper, tomatoes and steak.

Yes, I kept it all. There are a lot of people in those photos who are dead now. We had some good times, I don't want to forget everything - or run the risk of doing the same again. It brings back the feeling of doubt just to see the pictures.

I don't like it and never let my children go out begging (UK) but we used to put a candle in the window and give out sweets and satsumas. We would get students round looking for cash, but they still got a finger of fudge and a satsuma.

It happens, extra weight makes your feet spread - I went up a shoe size when I was expecting my children, but went back to my original size once I'd got back to my usual shape. Nothing to worry about!

Love G&T but if there's no slimline tonic around sometimes I go for lager... don't love it quite so much so I end up with no more calories overall. If I have extra calories to spend, sloe gin and bitter lemon!

Yes - the only thing that works for me is to send it back or make a point of leaving the excess, otherwise they still think they're doing me a favour.

Hello, I'm from Devon - 52, married 2 teenagers, and I've been gaining and losing the same 15lb most of my adult life. I'm here to get the last few pounds off and more importantly try tokeep it off. I'd like to meet other people in the same position. This is a fantastic webite, best I've found. I particularly like the…

I had one for 5 years with no problems and no periods, and loved it. Getting it taken out was such a nightmare I went back on the pill afterwards.

This does sound like comfort eating, and perhaps the ideal way to tackle it would be to find out why she is seeking comfort or consolation - some sort of stress or unhappiness? It's such a difficult age and my children certainly never told me much then. If she wants to be a baker, maybe some formal chef training would give…

I wear these for work and anything where I have to look smart, they are really comfortable - a week after I bought them I went back and got another pair in a different colour. I walk several miles a day and they have worn pretty well. Also they have removable insoles - I have a bad bunion and this means I can wear the…
