  • I've logged on for over 400 days and I've lost 55 lbs.
  • As others have said on here before, quit weighing yourself so often. Weigh yourself once every couple of weeks or 1 time a month. Take measurements and keep track of them. As other's have said as you workout you'll break down and build up new muscle, this along with some possible water retention from sodium can cause a…
  • Your looking great. Keep up the good work, and keep your head held high. Good Job.
  • Way to go to both of you. My wife and I made a lifestyle change in July of 2011, I've lost 55lbs, she has lost 45lbs. Like you and your wife we look better and I know we feel better. Keep up the great work, and be safe.
  • Our Hospital is going to require it next year. However, I've had the Flu shot in the Military and got sick, no record, because it was 2 decades ago. Now for those of you who insist we should have it because we work in a hospital, need to know that the flu shot you get this year is for the flu that we had last year and what…
  • Wow, what a transformation. Great job and keep up the great work.
  • All I can say is WOW. It looks like the hard work paid off. Great job!
  • I've logged in for over 370 days.
  • HI, I'm a nurse in Chester County, I'll help.
  • I eat and exercise normally. Sometimes your body needs a change and it does help to change up once in a while as long as you don't go way over your calorie count for the day.
  • If your watching the videos, Tony explains how to do everything and how to modify the workout. As for the pull-ups you can use a chair as they show in the video. Go by a pull-up bar, and mount it over a door as it explains. You can then attach the bands to that if needed. It works, when I first started P90x I couldn't do a…
  • Great job, what did you do? Share your secrets.
  • It sounds like your doing fine. I take it you don't eat alot, and that is why your not meeting your calorie count for the day? In the morning try oatmeal with blue berries and 1 tablespoon of peanut butter, and then eat small snacks between your lunch and supper. Before you knowing you'll be eating your calorie count. Keep…

  • You will have to try it for yourself. Some people have trouble sleeping after working out before going to bed. Other people do work out 2 to 3 hours prior to going to bed and they sleep great.
  • When you take off weight, and start to tone people will say that. As long as you are happy with your self and are healthy keep up the good work. I've been hearing those same comments for the last 2 to 3 months (lost 55 lbs since July 2011), but recently the comments have stopped because I've started to tone. Keep up the…
  • I use P90x and I went to the Beachbody website, and if I'm not mistaken it gave the workout and the average calories burnt, usually between 500 and 800 so I took the middle around 650 calories. Hope this helps.
  • I'm currently taking a Nutrition Class for college and what I've studied, and applied is; 1 to 2 pounds lost a week is the safe and effective way to lose weight. By doing this your not starving your body, and your bringing it down slowly to an acceptable level. Be patient, I've lost 55 lbs since July 2011. Be positive your…
  • Hell yeah, be proud of yourself woman. You look great, you did a great job. I'd be showing off that body and saying to myself and friends, "oh yeah, I'm the woman, I did this. oh yeah."
  • Don't give up. Keep pushing. I think what "macros" is, is your macro-nutrients. If your not getting enough then you'll end up plateauing your self by putting yourself in starvation mode. Also if maybe you need to change up your work-out routine. Do different body parts on different days, and in between put in 30 minutes to…
  • Wow!!! You look awesome, great job.
  • Exercise bike, and P90x.
  • I've met my goal weight of 198 lbs, and actually went on to 195 lbs. I feel great. All my hard work and determination has paid off.
  • There is no joy, than being a Nurse, EMT, or PARAMEDIC and helping someone in need and them or a family member saying thank you. Sorry Nurses, even though I'm a RN, with ER and now field experience, I have to stand up for the EMT's and Paramedics, well thats how I paid for Nursing school, and I was those long before…
  • Tell your supervisor your work area is becoming a hostile work enviorment, and bordering on Sexual harrassment and if it doesn't stop you will go over his head, and may seek legal council. It may sound harsh but if "Bill" keeps doing what he is doing what will he do next, and who will he go after next?
  • If your getting dizzy when you stand up from a sitting or lying position it is orthostatic hypotension. Your age may be something to consider, along with your diet, how much your drinking (water), how much your working out. In fact when was the last time you had your blood pressure checked? You can get dizzy if it is to…
  • Hi everyone. My name is Scot, I've been an RN for 7 years now. I started out in an Emergency Department, but since I was an EMT and Paramedic I decided to go back in the field. They have a program here in PA, where RN's can become certified as PreHospital RN's and that is what I do. I ride in a chase unit and go to the…
  • Don't give in. My wife and I have found ourselves under a lot of stress due to some medical problems. So we have found ourselves working out harder, and longer. My advise is to take that stress and channel it into your workout whatever it might be. Keep your head up, and keep pushing you can do it.
  • I take it no Fire, EMS, Police or nurses are looking for a spot to come together for support. Myself i've been on MFP for 3 months. When i started out I weighed 240 lbs, and I'm down to 208, and hope to get down to my goal weight of 195 in the next 3 months. I work as a PreHospital RN on a chase truck (Medic Unit) and work…
