I was lifting three days a week usually and doing some light cardio activity on 2 or 3 of my off days. I'm currently on my week off. And I don't care so much about the scale as fitting into my clothes. I have definitely gained inches around my hips and thighs and have a belly! (too much drinking!!)

A lot of people don't get enough protein in their diets. For instance, I don't eat much meat because I hate preparing it for myself. I'm not a soy person, and I rarely cook beans. So, I struggle to get in my 100 g a day I'm shooting for.

Good low-carb one is SciVation Whey protein! About 120 cals, 4 g carbs, and 20-something g of protein. The chocolate flavor is tasty!

I have the exact same problem. Within an hour of eating I'm tired and lethargic or sleepy. I eat healthy foods and balanced meals like 90% of the time. I drink a lot of coffee or diet soda to combat the exhaustion!

this! greek yogurt is an awesome way to cut cals while adding in a ton of protein. you can even substitute greek yogurt for eggs/oil in cake mixes and such.

I usually drink a protein shake. If I don't have/want that, I drink some chocolate milk -- a great recovery drink after a hard workout. Anything with a good mix of carbs and protein!

You're probably going to continue to be annoyed and frustrated by it if you ignore it. I would ask him politely not to comment about food -- maybe say that for one week you don't want to say anything about food and see how it goes. you can also show him your food diary and explain to him how it works. if he gives you…

it's important to NEVER go below 1200 calories. I stick to 1200 on days I don't work out, but if I burn say, 300 calories working out I will eat 1500 that day. This keeps you at a steady calorie deficit but prevents your body from going into starvation mode and hanging on to the fat. I would also suggest eating something…
