Look into doing a 'hip flexer' stretch.

I've reached my goal. I've got just as many friends here as ever. They still cheer me on when I post things. BUT, what I really like is cheering the others on to help then reach their goals. Just because you've reached the end doesn't mean the race is over.

Sorry but you're wrong. 1lb. fat is the same weight as 1lb. of muscle. You're talking mass.

This is going to sound like it makes you more tired but it gives you energy through out the day. Wake up an hour earlier and get you workout done first thing. Trust me I use to not be a morning person but I no longer have the 3pm head nods anymore.

Muscle doesn't weigh more than fat. It all depends on your total daily caloric intake/output.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink.

They're both real. Water weight flux our body's weight daily, anywhere from -3 to +3 lbs. in a day. That's why they say to keep it at the same time of day on the same day every week. Good luck!

I noticed that you are leaving a lot of calories and not even reaching 1200 cals. on some days. This can be anti-productive and may lead to your body thinking that it is in starvation mode, in which it protects it self by storing extra fat. BUT, losing .5 to 1.5lbs a week is very healthy so be happy at that healthy weight…

REMEMBER: the problem with artificial sweeteners is that it tends to make people crave more sweets which in turn may cause a binge in real sweets. BE AWARE and be in control. Good luck!

The Wii Fit was what started me going. You don't have to start running right out of the gate. Just start by doing a little bit more here and there. Try parking farther away, yoga, walking, etc. Good luck!!

I started at 277 and others started commenting at around 20-30lbs. That was when I started losing weight around the face.

I'll do at least a 5K three times a week. The weekends, run maybe a 10K.

My goal was to stay below 200lbs. I working on a 195lbs. - 190lbs. cushion. This eases my stress when I have a bad (fun) weekend and pack on some pounds.

If you can cope it, do it. C25K is just a suggestion not a rule. Good luck!

As a rule for me is if it has sugar, caffeine or sodium it doesn't count

I started of running 3 times a week. I didn't see any increase for about the first two months and it is very gradual (which can be discouraging) In Jan/Feb I was running 4 to 5 times a week but speed wasn't increasing at all. Days off are important for muscle building along w/speed.

That's great to see. I've seen too many people write about having bad trainers. Good to see there are good ones. Good luck!

Yes, the hills are the main advantage. Also, one of the best things I feel about getting outside is it isn't the same old boring thing. Even if I'm watching TV while on the treadmill it seems like it takes a lot longer to go the same distance as it would walking outside. One of the problems with people quitting exercise is…
