Not sure what kind of bike you have but if you have a mountain type style of bike w/ just the one bar across you could add climbing bars to the ends that can help you switch up hand posture.

I think this falls under, 'looking after #1'. I'm sure it might bother some, but they'll get over it in about 2.3 seconds flat. This site is for you to get what you need out of it, and if that's needing female support, I say don't worry about bothering any males feelings. Good luck to you and keep up the hard work.

Log everything. Don't cheat on yourself. Educate yourself on what you eat and exercise. Don't be afraid to ask questions (more than once) Good luck!

Way to go! Keep up the great exercise!!

Slimfast never worked for me. It always kept me hungry for more. Special K Van./Almond and Almond milk works for me in the morning. By the way, welcome to MFP!

I didn't see anything until I was about 20lbs. down BUT after the first two weeks I was feeling way better. It's not all about the scale.
-
Two cups of coffee a day for me but I was able to get it down to just the two.
-
Way to go! That's awesome! Congrats!!

The way I logged it was to log in my running time and walking time separately. The amount of time I spent walking would be logged on at 4mph time and the running would be at 6mph time. You do need to know what speed you walk/run at.

With weights it's good to get recovery days in and take a day off. What a lot of people do is one day do upper body and then the next day do lower body.
