Hi! I'm happy to join this group! I love walking, Zumba, and have recently joined the Pump class at Club 24. Good luck everyone!

Hi! My husband's heart Dr. told him he could only eat whole foods... nothing that swims, walks, flies, crawls! My son and I are adjusting to our new way of eating. Some recipes are much better than others! Just tried the silken tofu with cocoa - YUM! Nice to see others out there - esp. when the news just announced pork…

I'll be 58 in July. Happy to find others out there who are done with Menopause! Just got off hormone replacements (per Dr.) and hoping that won't make my weight change in the wrong direction! Feel free to "friend" me if you'd like! Melinda

If you've only gained half a pound, it'll come off. Even though I've gone through Menopause, I always gain at the end of each month. This morning, I was up 1-1/2 lbs. but I know it's because we've been trying out new vegetarian meals with rice and lots of fiber (my husband's heart doc told him to stop eating all meat).…

I usually do Zumba for cardio but am interested in how to get started on lifting weights. I'm in my late 50's and don't want flabby arms or tummy. What's a good web site to learn from for beginners? Thanks!

Thanks for sharing.. Was just looking on Kraft website last night for ideas and many of the recipes were too many calories. Can't wait to try out the 100 calorie snacks!

Hi! I'm in my late 50's, also struggling with post menopause symptoms. Was also off calorie tracking for a couple of years (started with a little of MFP in 2011, then used SparkPeople for 2 year; had 2 surgeries, then in January went back to MFP. Would love to keep in touch for support! Take care!

WOW! I admire your sticking with MFP for so long! I also joined in 2011. Thank you for sharing your story; you are an inspiration to all of us! Take care while continuing your journey!

Hi! I'm also 5'0". I had written down from somewhere online that for my height, a healthy weight is between 98-132 lbs. Years ago, I got down to 104 lbs. but that was really TOO thin! That was a few years ago and right now, I'd be happy to be around 115 lbs. Take care!

I cheated a little with Safeway sugar cookies and a few Lindor chocolates. Went to the gym tonight to work them off and get back on track. We're having a "pretend" Biggest Loser contest at work for 12 weeks. Our 1st weigh-in's on Monday. How's everyone else doing?

What an incredible testimony! You are so inspiring to me! Your story brought tears to my eyes. Sometimes it's so easy to just give up on every recovering our "former" selves! My surgeries have caused hormones to go out of whack and am trying to combat tummy and thyroid issues. Thank you for sharing - you've given us HOPE!!…

I'm so proud and happy for you! You look GREAT!!

Hi! We'll be married 34 years next month... Sure wouldn't mind you adding me as a friend  I lost 65 lbs in 2011 but 30 have come back due to ovary and thyroid surgeries. Let's do this together!

I also gained a little... I think because we had to travel and it's hard to stay on track when eating at new restaurants! Hoping for better luck by next week. Hang in there!

Hi! Thank you for starting this post to help us be motivated. It's REALLY hard for me not to snack and watch TV after a stressful day at work; so knowing you guys are out there being a motivation will help me stay focused! We can do this!!!
