  • Hi Alex! Welcome.
  • Looks like I'm back in the Jawbone UP game. I've been using the app on my Pebble watch for the last few days and I just pre-ordered the UP3. It's definitely improved since I had the first gen UP. I have a good feeling about the UP3 and can't wait to get my hands on it. I'm still looking for UP team members. You can find me…
  • I hope you're still using your UP! I just sent you a team member request
  • I'm Heather A, however there are several Heather A's so you'll want to look for the picture of my dog and cat looking out the window to find me!
  • Hi Claire! Welcome :) Feel free to add me as well. I'm Heather ABC (look for the cat and dog looking out the window in my picture) on the UP app.
  • I'm using the Jawbone UP app on my Pebble and plan to get an UP3 when it comes out in a few weeks. I'd love some friends as well. I think you can find my by looking up Heather A
  • Hi everyone! I'm Heather and I'm in my early 40s ;) Hope I can join in with you all. Weightloss has been my life-long journey and one I will probably struggle with until the day I die. As of this morning I'm about 50 pounds less than my highest weight. I've been as low as 90 pounds under than number, but unfortunately I've…
  • Raising my hand! Sister I could have written that same post myself. My office closed last fall and I ate my way through the winter. I'm now up 15 pounds from last year at this time and 40 from my lowest number... after regaining the 15 pounds I worked so hard to lose again last year. It's been a see-saw for me since…
  • I am seriously considering returning the Jawbone UP. The app is nice and flashy, I love the style of the bracelet, and the visual reminder wearing it gives me. However, I feel like I get more information feedback from Fitbit than JBU. I don't like that I can't track my weight. That's a big one for me. I've got about 10…
  • I actually have a Fitbit One and now the Jawbone. I bought the Jawbone because they added the MFP integration and I've been wanting to try a bracelet tracker. I've also used the BMFit in the past. I just got home from shopping and noticed that the Jawbone UP is off my Fitbit One's step count by about 700+ steps. I think…
  • Have you tried Goodbye Gluten bread? I can find it at Giant Eagle and it's fresh... not frozen. Makes a damn good grilled cheese sandwich.
  • My highest weight was 72 pounds higher than I am today and my goal weigh is about 37 pounds less than where I am today. I've been on this journey my entire adult life but have maintained the majority of my loss for about 4 years. I seem to hit a brick wall when I get to the 90 pound mark and then bounce back up. I'm…
  • We made some BC GF cupcakes using that mix just a few weeks ago and I thought the same thing... like cornbread. The brownies (I think they are BC) are delis though.
  • Nope... and you can't put the BMF on until you are dry.
  • I did wear mine on my calf when bike riding. It seemed to register ok, though the official word from the Body Media people is that this does not track accurately unless it is on a very specific area of your arm.
  • Well mostly for three years... it tended to not get used during the warm months when others could see it. ;)
  • Having used both the BMF and Bodybugg for about 3 years and the FB for 6 months I can tell you I much prefer the FB. When I first got my FB I wore both it and my BMF for a week to compare #s. They were close enough that I happily took off my arm band and have not looked back. The FB website is amazing and so much more user…
  • You got it right. That's what it is. However, it's beautiful and it's really nice not to have to remember what the scale told me when I stepped on. Might just be denial on my part... ;)
  • The big one is COST! You pay $99 for FB and no monthly fees for a website far superior to the BMF or BB sites (I've used both). The numbers are fairly close, but the convenience of the FB just can't be beat. I have larger arms so wearing the bands was a pain after several years and I didn't like to use it in the warm…
  • I gave up my BodyMedia Fit after getting my Fitbit. It's so much less intrusive and the numbers were close enough for me to feel secure giving it up. I had used both BodyBugg and BMF for 3 years. I don't miss them in the least. The Fitbit website and community are above and beyond.
  • We're twins! So do I! I feel nekkid without my Fitbit nearby. All four of us in my house have the Fitbit and use the scale. Now I just need to keep that scale moving downward... not as much fun when it goes up. Haha
  • Those photos are quite motivating! I'm struggling with belly issues myself. Thanks for the motivation.
  • I just bought a Xbox for myself last week. It was one way for me to spend my Christmas/Birthday money and not have to share the Kinect with my husband and son. They have the older non-Kinect Xbox that they are glued to every day. I was using the Wii to workout in the past but the controllers always killed the grove for me.…
  • What a great idea. I've just been entering as an estimate. I will have to start making daily foods. I was missing seeing the nutrients. Thanks for the idea!
  • I just received my BMF Link today. I have used both the BodyBugg and the BMF (with display) prior to this. I'm glad to have this newest band linked to my iPhone. If you get the non-Link make sure you buy a display to use (usually $80-$100) with the band, it makes all the difference. Mine came from Costco, I only buy from…
