Good points here :)

" This and I, personally, can eat A LOT of it.

Thank you for sharing the ranking site! :)

No problem! I had trouble understanding it at first, too. :) Good luck! It is a great program and I plan to start it again myself soon once I am cleared to lift again after an injury.

I, too, am the family baker. I actually lose my motivation to eat baked goods thanks to the baking marathon of DOOM I do every year. If you are capable of it, cram all of your holiday baking into 2-3 days. Up super early and up super late into the night (we're talking like 2am ovens still going), I guarantee you won't want…

Good to know! :) There are disgusting flavors everywhere in protein-ville. Some people love’em and other people hate’em. Even ON had some flavors I didn't care for.

I have not personally ventured into casein-land, but the awesome reviewers that recommended Cellucor to me also raved about PES Select Protein. I don't believe PES is 100% casein though. I think it is a blend. Not sure what you are looking for, but it might be something to check out! :)

I used to be all about ON, but I recently switched to Cellucor and I really love it. I have only tried the mint chocolate chip flavor so far. It mixes better than ON and is tasty enough where I drink it with just plain ol’ 6oz of water! :)

It is always awesome when you recover something you thought was gone forever! :) Congrats on your loss so far and good luck on your continued progress! <3

I log in grams/weight. I measure the item and then figure out the number of servings in grams. However, I log it as whatever measurement is in the database already as long as the nutrition information is accurate. For example, even though I weigh out a serving of cereal, if the entry has servings in cups I will leave it as…

HRMs are for tracking steady state cardio only. It is important to note that HRMs are not accurate for weight lifting and will not give you an accurate burn. They are also not meant for HIIT. Temperature extremes and daily burn tracking (e.g. I wear it all day to find out what I should be taking in) are also inaccurate.…

Awesome post :)

Weight =/= volume. They are not the same thing. Measuring using spoons, cups, etc. is NOT the same as weighing the food in grams, lbs, ounces, etc.

I have an entire cookbook for my pressure cooker, but have yet to really embrace it. I plan to remedy that soon! :)

There is nothing wrong with working out at home. It is all I used to do! :) The back of the mind is what you need to try to shift. That's why I recommend turning the activities into hobby activities. Even going to free clubs/get togethers for running or hiking or dancing, can shift the focus off appearance to…

My eating was all over the place after an over 4 year relationship break-up last year. Unfortunately, the source of this issue is mental and the grieving process and time varies for everyone. My advice to you would be to eat calorie dense items when you do eat in order to try and bridge the gap until things get back to…

This happened to me the first time I lost weight in my life. At the time, I wasn't even trying to lose weight. It just kind of happened. After I noticed, that is when I became obsessed and ashamed of myself. It is the way you are viewing yourself and your body. It is something you have to consciously work to turn around in…

I really liked Swan Princess as a kid. :) The sequels... not so much lol.

My favorite Disney movie has to be Mary Poppins. When I was little, I watched it every single night for 2 years straight... my poor mother ha ha. :) My family loves Disney. We always make the parks our family vacation (with a few exceptions). My favorite part is seeing the faces of the little ones experiencing the magic…

Yay! Cookies and cream is my preferred out of the flavors I have tried. :)

Bump :)

Thank you for taking the time to look this up and type it all out! Awesome detailed review. It is much appreciated <3

Thanks for joining in! I am still open to hearing from non-ON folks, but there do sure seem to be a lot of them lol! I have heard such good things about Cellucor's taste, but have yet to see anyone compare it to a brand I have tried. I know there is a promotion going on, so I was looking into it.

Can you recommend any flavors? I liked the extreme milk chocolate and the strawberry, but didn't care for the double Dutch chocolate (I think it was). I know some flavors can get scary in protein ha ha. You have a very valid point. Why switch if it is working and there are flavors to try? I think I was getting caught up in…

Thanks for the temperature suggestions! Would you recommend rotating casein into my regimen? I know that it is slower absorbing, but that is about it. I also know it is thicker, which I imagine makes consumption worse ha ha. :)
