I freeze my fruit and use it instead of ice cubes. Makes for a better smoothie, especially bananas but mango is one of my favorites. Today I made a smoothie with a carrot, stalk of celery, half a pear, quarter of a banana, half cup raw spinach, a little cucumber and water. Nutritious and tasty as well.

Real food is just a term used for food that hasn't be altered, meaning its in its original form. Skim milk has been altered, all pasteurized milk is altered but low fat or ski even more through the process of removing the fat.

Thanks guys! I do understand the calorie intake versus calorie burn. It just seems I'm getting less food quantity wise. I do agree a handful of nuts stays with you longer than a granola bar.

If I drink wine within my calorie limit I don't gain weight, but I have blood sugar problems and have to eat fatty food to counter the effects alcohol has on my body. Yes, I gain weight from wine. I think more people need to be aware of what they are putting in their mouth. I was obsessed when I first started but once I figured out how to navigate the world of 'bad' choices I relaxed. But still firmly believe in thinking about what you eat and preparing ahead of time.

oikos plain only! I dislike Chobani because I think it tastes like sour milk. And I only eat plain because the others are too sweet. I do put stevia in it though every time. Love greek yogurt!

Its how I see it too. I work in the Finance/investement industry and my credit has always been a determination for a job or representing various companies, I also am scrutinized on my appearance. I have to look 'the part' professional and somewhat upscale. I dont see a problem with what they are doing.

I eat the kids 4 piece chicken meal with waffle fries at Chick fil a. It's only about 400 calories and works in a pinch
