I'm lazy so I just buy the ready mix from M&S and use my small frying pan to make smaller portions. But I usually just eat it with a drizzle of lemon and a sprinkle of brown sugar or some fresh fruit- strawberries/blueberries mainly with small dollop greek yogurt and manuka honey. PS. I can't NOT have pancakes tomorrow.…

 Thanks for the giggle

Put it in with your dirt in your garden if you're planting. Extra nutrient for the soil

Thanks for the giggle. It reminded me of an episode of Green Wing (UK comedy) and a character in it did the exact same thing but in the hospital she worked in because she was bored.

Inspiring :)

Well even after exercise, there is the "after burn". You still continue burning hours after you have done a work out.
-
Ahhh that's true! I also find it harder to fall asleep if I've left it quite late in the day to workout.
-
I don't think it really matters, so long as you're getting some form of exercise and you're making the right food choices, then you're on the right path to a healthier new you. I personally couldn't work out in the morning, I love my bed too much to make a 5am effort. I usually try and work out mid afternoon - reason…

I agree. If you're hungry, then eat. If you're not, then don't. Simples

When it's a social, I like to make vegetarian burritos, or set aside extra lean mince beef for the meat lovers. So it's more of a buffet-make-your-own-burrito-up-on-your-plate. Drinks-wise - that's a tough one, as my crowd always drink beer. :drinker:

I like to steam it in the microwave. It doesn't go soggy at all! :) I like to drizzle some lemon over it. Yum!

I'm 5'2" and i am NOT a runner, but I would like to be one day. I can just about do 12min mile "run(my standards-short *kitten*)" (or considered 'jog' for most people,). I've been doing the Couch to 5K program and it has helped me a lot. I can just about do 5.6km in 40mins but it's also alternating with jogging and walking…

That reminded me of an episode I watched (can't remember the programme name) where a girl suffered from Rapunzel Syndrome - eating one's own hair!

Me too

I love reading your posts. So I'm bumping for later to read, because it's quite late here.

Well I just use my diary as a general guide, a "teaching tool" for me to get used to eating healthily and a good reminder to myself, but I try to make sure I eat everything in moderation and control my portions.

Same here!

wow!!! WHAT. A. TRANSFORMATION!
-
arghhhh now I'm craving that!

It's slowly toning me and shaping me tighter. It's definitely worth combining both strength and cardio! It's just as important as each other

I usually walk 3-4mph too and all I can manage is 5.9-6.5mph when running (well more like jogging). I can't run/sprint. The Couch to 5K does really work though! It built my stamina! Have fun!

I was on the depo provera for 8 years. Hassle free. Had it injected every 12 weeks. No TOM, just spotting. Like most BC, it made me a little spottier and gave me mood swings. But I now take Primrose capsules 1000mg a day to curb the mood swings naturally which has helped tremendously. With many BC methods, it DOES make you…

Hello! I'm 5'2" and maintaining at the moment, but aiming to be as toned as I possibly can. It's been quite difficult thanks to splurging during the Christmas holidays :blushing:

bump for later. meh have to go to work

For a second there, I'm saying out loudly halfway through, "Is this for real?! BS" Funny.

Bin it. Mold can spread. It is bacteria after all and can cause skin irritation.

Oh you can also try using a hair mask. Use natural pure Coconut oil on your hair, massage scalp gently whilst adding it and leave overnight. (You will have to sleep on a towel). Next day, use a gentle shampoo to wash it out. A lot of Asian cultures use this method once/twice a week. It keeps hair soft and shiny and helps…

I've been taking Primrose Oil and Collagen supplements alongside. It's helped me so far, but as others have said, best check with the doctor.
