If I eat something that comes in different colors, like fruit snacks, I have to separate them into like colors and then I eat them starting with the color that has the fewest first.

I've heard some kind of flaxseed in your shake will actually fill you up until lunchtime. I have yet to try it though....I'm not one for shakes.

Woohoo! Just (literally) started a 30 day challenge with Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred so this is great! It will definitely keep me motivated to keep going and lose weight by Christmas! Thank you for starting this!

I work 16 hours tomorrow (7am-1130m) so I'm debating taking a rest day tomorrow already. Either that or getting up way earlier to get it done. I know I won't be able to do it when I get home. After my last double, I came home, crashed, and slept for amost 13 hours!

I just log it using my HRM. I burn about 300 calories which includes a warm up and a pretty long cool down (it takes a while for my heart rate to come down after a workout like that).

I just started today also! I finished Level 1 and went all the way through completely. I've always had to stop before because it just got too hard. But today I pushed and I completed it! :) I took before measurements, but I'll post those after the 30 days.

I'm pretty anal and I always make sure my minimum net intake is at least 1200 calories. If I ate a total of 1400 and burned 600, I will eat that extra 400 to bring it up to 1200, but I usually won't eat more than that. That way, I still have a deficit and my body is getting the calories it needs to keep functioning.

240, about 4 years ago (I was 25). Then I started walking with a friend and I lost about 30 pounds. I slacked off for a few years after that but I didn't gain more than 5 of it back. Now I'm back, at 209, and wanting to get rid of the rest!

When I was 16 (and I only weighed about 150 at the time) a woman (stranger) put her hands ON MY BELLY (!!??!?!) and said "Don't worry. It looks like you're due any day now." I just looked at her and said "I'm not pregnant. First of all, I'm only 16, and secondly, I'm just fat. But thank you" and walked away. *****!

I made my own egg scrambler. I had 2 large eggs, 1 slice of reduced fat colby-jack cheese, and 4oz hamburger meat. It was alright. Won't be making it again though! LoL.

Former band geek. I play the clarinet in high school (officially). I also played (unofficially) flute, sax, and about 5 notes on a trumpet! LoL! I was also captain of our flag squad (Color guard) and LOVED that as well! Yup. Die hard band geek here! :)

Leslie Sansone. I LOVE her DVDs. My favorite is the 4 Fast Miles one. It combines walking, jogging, and intervails. It's a GREAT workout!
