Congrats on joining mfp. I joined the last week in Oct. and have lost 28 lbs to date. This is the first time in 10 years I am not 100 lbs overweight. DRINK your water!!! Listen to your body. Just because you have the calories doesn't mean you have to use them. If you are hungry then use them. I wait til a few hours after dinner, and if I'm not sure if I want something, I usually drink 12 ounces of water or seltzer. Then if Im still hungy in a half hour, I will break into the extra calories.

stay away from the scale!!!! Only weigh yourself every 10 days or so. You should be able to tell if youre losing weight by your clothes, especially your underwear. I just found a great trick for an awesome lunch. I buy a pound of the healthiest deli turkey and have it package in 4 quarters.
