I find that I sometimes gain weight in the days right before my TOM and then near the end of it I usually see a loss. I think I have PMS right now so I hope that is why I am gaining.

Just checking in for the day. I did much better on my challenges today. I tracked my food all weekend (although yesterday my eating habits were a disaster). Today I stayed under calories and burned 1300 calories, did 120 crunches, and 50 squats. I hope everyone had a great weekend.:happy:

So I lost on the mindful eating thing-why must my children have Halloween candy everywhere I look? But I made up for it in exercise. I burned 1000 calories on my bike and did 50 squats, 120 crunches and 60 side leg lifts. So I was able to come in under calories for the day.

I missed weigh in day because we had been without power since last Saturday! My family was staying with my Mom and I ate like I was on vacation so I actually had a gain. Today is my back day on my diet and I am struggling with cravings. starting weight 137.5 new weight 138.5

I didn't do well today at all! We are snowed in here in CT. We have at least 6 inches of snow already and it is supposed to go until tomorrow morning. I did my 20 girly push ups today! I also burned around 1200 calories with cardio and did my 50 squats and 120 crunches. However I was terrible about my water. I think I only drank 48 oz for the day.

I really understand this. I usually lose weight every other week. I work out everyday, and do a ton of cardio but my weight loss is very slow. Just keep up the good work and I am sure you will see a difference next week. Four pounds in the first week is awesome. I usually lose that in a month.:smile:

Thank you! I have a stationary bike in front of my tv and I don't let myself watch any of my shows unless I am riding. its the only way I get the cardio in.

For my weekly challenge I am going to stick with the 50 squats and 100 crunches a day and add 60 side leg lifts.

I look at the number of calories and fats, try to stay away from foods that are high in carbs and sugars, and look for foods that are high in fiber and protein.

I was sad to see this morning that I neither lost weight or inches. I really worked hard this week and I don't see how I could have worked in any more cardio than I did. The one thing that might have affected me was I also woke up with my period-ugh! Hopefully it means I will have a big loss next week.

Hey everyone, Today I biked to burn 1243 cals. I also did 50 squats and 100 crunches as well as worked my arms. For the week I have burned 6507 calories.

Today I burnt 1322 calories between walking the bike trail and riding my bike. I also did 100 crunches, 50 squats and 100 reps for my arms. I drank over 10 glasses ( a miracle for me) and stayed under calories. It was def. a great day here. I am so gonna miss the beautiful weather we've been having.

this week my personal goal is to continue the 100 situps a day, and add 50 squats to each day. I've decided it is nice to have a rest day so it will be 600 sit ups and 300 squats. I'll just add the numbers together for my goal.
