burger has high fat content and you're probably not getting a balanced nutrition with just a burger for the day. Three portioned meals with a good balance of proteins-carbs-fats would be perfect.

all debates about muscle vs. fat aside, you have a great work out schedule, and im excited to hear about your progress. Best of luck!

When she tells you that, believe it. And move on to the girl who actually WANTS to be in a relationship with you (or your friend).

try eating the most during the day (when you burn the most calories) and decrease your dinner portion.. and see if that helps.

depends on the size of the restore.

i took up yoga and stopped drinking alcohol, this made quitting easier for me. And I was working in a client based job and I did not want my breath and hair to smell like smoke, plain and simple. I've read somewhere that physical fitness and exercising makes quitting easier. I agree with this, because not only was i able…

water water water! I take sips of warm water throughout the day regularly and also with my meal.

I agree that you can eat like the person you want to be, but you might deprive yourself of nutrients and or calories and end up crashing at the end of the day. I want to be like Gisele Bundchen but we all know that's not possible because I'm 5'3" and asian with wide hips, and I can't eat like her because she probably…

you just need to find your center again. Come back to the beginning and process what it is that got you started on this journey. We'll fall off every now and then, but that's because this is a life-long journey, not a crash-course because those never stick. Maybe it's time to find a new fitness regimen or change your…

I totally stand behind the idea that true transformation starts from within. My philosophy is that it all starts from self-love, or at least learning to love yourself and wanting the best for your body and your spirit. That's when we start shedding toxic "friends," toxic habits like eating junk food or smoking or comfort…

There's definitely hope. Once you've decided to make positive changes in your life, nothing and no one can take that from you. Friends and family can't deal with this NEW YOU so they might unconsciously try to sabotage your efforts. If they can't deal with their own insecurities and are having trouble processing your…

This incredible journey that you're on is full of ups and downs and I bet you'll doubt yourself and or want to throw in the towel more than 50% along the way. Cherish your accomplishment and let yourself be proud of your success and celebrate this every day... life events are out of your control, and you might want to find…

Yes, first lower body fat and with strength training you will see tone and definition. I used to work out and diet with my brother's wrestling buddies in highschool, and I was JACKED but I remember in the beginning there was an emphasis on protein uptake and lowering body fat first.

I agree with substituting and making smarter choices! there's a way to diet without restricting so much of the things you enjoy i.e. pizza and chips+dip (mm salsa!).

Two pounds a week is reasonable and I wish you the best. I agree the last 5-10 pounds will be a challenge but only because at that point your body will lose pounds slower (less than pound per week). Be patient and keep it up. I have nine more pounds to go in my progress. I've lost twenty pounds in the past five months (at…

it's best to just not eat that late. Because no matter what you eat the night before, your stomach is going to expend a lot of energy all night trying to digest it when your metabolism is at its lowest, and youre just going to feel nasty in the morning. I say just drink a warm herbal tea and go to bed.

Hi! Every one has one of those rough weekends. You will feel a lot lighter after a two-day detox... you'll be back on track in no time!

I've been reading about the importance of eating and timing. I would recommend a light breakfast with fruits and warm tea and this is because the body is stil in the "elimination" phase in the morning (before 10 am) and your digestive system is not quite strong enough for you to handle a hefty, hearty, heavy breakfast.…

very nice! I wish you the best. My personal goal this week is simply to kick my habit of eating while watching TV which leads to unconscious munching (and overeating...). If I can accomplish this, then I know I'll start seeing improvements to my fitness goals and the overall well-ness of my body :)

make yourself a schedule. Like, for instance, Mondays and Wednesdays Zumba (yes please!), Tuesday Thursdays Treadmill and strength training, Friday: rest, Saturday: rest, Sunday: Yoga or Pilates or Fluidity. That might work. Variety keeps you motivated :) and of course if you like it you'll keep going back! If the gym is…

The body needs those sugars in the fruits which give you energy. It's best to eat your fruits in the morning when your metabolism is at its peak so that your body can break down those sugars throughout the day for energy. Try to avoid fruits toward evening as it can exacerbate your stomach acids. I had a small plate of…

I understand the need to snack throughout the day. I just think that snacking should be avoided as much as possible. Try eating a medium sized breakfast of fruits and some organic oatmeal, and a LARGE warm lunch, then a small light dinner. Throughout the day sip warm water. I read in a book about ayurvedic dieting that…

Yes, I Agree that weight loss is on a calorie deficit, but the burgers_fries a day diet can not be good for your overall well being. I am not a doctor or a nutritionist, but the hydrogenated oils in fries and the fat content in burgers will take a toll on you. I have learned that exercise is not enough to get you to your…

Congratulations! This is a great accomplishment and you should be very proud. You are obviously very strong and confident and I know you will make it to your goal in no time. Keep it up!

Theres nothing to sugarcoat here. Neither is a good meal alternative, no matter how many healthy frills you add to it. Its processed, its fake food, and all sodium. Make time to cook real food. Your mind , body, and heart will thank you.

I understand that you need to lose a lot of weight but this hard core, super rushed attempt is not going to stick because you will break down. Work on a consistent plan.

Congrats! Keep it up
