You look HOT !! :-) I bet your wife is happy !!! I live in the North of England too :-)

I agree with this. I also feel like sometimes I don't get taken seriously enough when people around me find out I am trying to change my lifestyle to a healthier one, the attitude is sometimes "well uve got plenty of time to change " or "wait until you get to my age, then you'll panic ". Its good to have that support.

Hey, I am 21, and 173lbs. My goal weight is 130lbs. I agree with the other poster that 105lbs seems very slight, unless you are about 5 foot ! I'm 5"7. Add me as a friend if u like, as we are similar weights !

I tracked my calories, but went over. I know how you feel !!!! We can make a fresh start today ? :-)

Good post ! The friendship I am breaking is my friendship with over eating, binge eating and unhealthy foods. They were my best friends for a long time.

Haha. I am an aspiring lottery winner too !! My official title is 'Harm Minimisation Drugs Worker'. I work with injecting drug users, getting them the support, treatment they need.

I just wanted to say, I went through a very similar situation when I was younger and it is hard to get out of the mindset but I've finally did it too. SO when I told my friends and family I was going to start healthy eating in their heads I said ' I am going to revisit my eating disorder'. They were concerned, and still…

Hmm. I'm in a similar position. Is there no way you can get up even earlier and do 20 minutes or so? I've been getting up at 6am and going swimming before my loooong shift at work.. rather than making me more tired, it actually makes me have more energy at work ! Just remember, everything burns calories. Sit up straight…

I hate it when people do that !!!!! I think they do it to take away the feeling of guilt from themselves, you know? Like my boss is meant to be healthy eating but she brought in cakes last week, and I said no thank you and she was like 'ooo your being healthy arent you, well im going to have one'. I just said go ahead.. I…

Good for you deciding not to step on the scales, I'm only doing it once a week now because it was becoming obsessive and it was really affecting my mood (and my calorie intake!) We all have these days, but just think, when you wake up tomorrow its a bright new day and hopefully you will be feeling more positive !!!! By the…

'I'm not a lesbian. I can just appreciate other women' - me too !! When I saw that post and how you are feeling it made me sad cause you are beautiful. I've added you :-) I've actually added quite a few people with the same goals as me and similar weights, I suggest you do the same - its fantastic to have that support…

'I am 162 lbs with a goal of anywhere between 135 and 145 lbs (those are the recommended healthy weights for someone my height). ' I MFP stalked your profile. You are nearly at your ideal weight !!!! Good on you girl !!

Once a week, on a Thursday morning. I also measure myself then too. During the week or the times I'm feeling like I need to step on the scale, I tell by my clothes.

You can boil most things, I'd recommend boiling rather than canned veg - loads more vitamins ! Things you can boil: Carrots, Broccoli, cabbage, sprouts, peas. Evvverything :-) (I eat raw cabbage but I'm strange)

I would suggest eating crackers. I rave about crackers, you can get different kinds and they vary from about 10-50 cals. Even if you ate that 4 or 5 , it would still be less than biscuits/crisps etc. Also apple chunks, banana, any fruits are good too.

If I were you (if you can stomach it ) I would try porridge in the morning. It keeps you going and it isn't bad for you. If you had a bowl of porridge in the morning and a banana, it would be a better start to the day and keep you from snacking also. If your like me and hate breakfast, train yourself to like it ! I can't…

Hi !! Nice to meet you. Its hard working nights, I always feel extra hungry and my body pattern is messed up. Its took me a while but I've started trying to train myself to snack on fruit, raw veg, crackers, raisins during the night to keep me going rather than big meals. Glad you are here, and we can work together to stay…

Hey there, I'm thinking about cycling to work.. although my bike is about 10 years old and probably in need of a new one, it will 'do' for now I think !!! Its around 8 miles. How are you finding it? After a workout or any kind of cardio I always have a can of tuna in spring water, drained. No mayo just vinegar. If you put…

That spaghetti recipe sounds amazing. I wonder wether you could use wholegrain spaghetti instead?

I eat my homous with water crackers, preferably carrs but store brand is ok too, carrs only have 14 calories a cracker so I have ten, and it definately makes me less hungry (We spell humous like that in Uk, or at least it does on my packaging !) I get the little snack pots, they are quite low cal and really tasty !! You…
