I try to expose myself to as much natural daylight as possible. This includes walks and working next to windows.

I would love to give you advise, but I do not have any. I am in a similar situation, and locked into a lease. I leave my house at 5:30 am on weekdays (7 am on weekends), go to the gym, shower there, and go directly to my office (I am a graduate student). I only return home to go to bed (~10 pm).

This is an excellent question. I will use my cardio day at the gym tomorrow morning to answer this. I think I will choose running on the treadmill to test this. I cannot believe I have not done this before.

Other than "jock scratchin'", I do all of the aforementioned manly activities, though I am not a man. I Am Sam (Sean Penn) is incredibly heart wrenching; avoid this film if you do wish to weep like a 6 year old girl.

I used to have difficulty around this time of year, but this year I have increased my daily protein intake to ~100 g/ day and I have not had any urges to binge or overeat.

It is that TOM for me right now, and I find that eating more protein (~150 g/day) controls any hunger pangs. I found a raw 76% organic chocolate called Olivia Chocolat (from the chocolatiers of Chantley, Quebec, Canada) that has very little added sugar and is 133 cal/portion; the high cocoa % satisfies my cravings quickly.…
