Maybe your metabolism is messed up due to not eating enough - since you say you're always hungry. I'm no expert but I think maybe you should try eating smaller meals but more often - like every couple of hours. That way you are not hungry and your body will start losing weight since it realizes you're not starving.

I have that program, but never liked it. there were too many repetitions, as far as his dialog. It is almost like they keep running a portion of a recording over and over again. Tony Horton is the way to go. It's like working out with a real coach. That's just my opinion though.

You can go on the Atkins website and they have a free start up kit they will send you with some Atkins bars and a book that tells you the way to eat. I used to run marathons for years. Loved it. Now my knees won't cooperate due to a meniscus tear. Never the same since surgery. I will be your friend. Is anyone trying low carb?

1. Make sure you don't eat below 1200 calories a day so as not to risk lowering your metabolism 2. Eat a little something every couple of hours to keep your metabolism stoked - just like a fire My downfall is I like to have a few evening cocktails after a long day's work. I need to cut that out.

Good luck to you on your new day. I plan on running 2 miles tonight with hills. I hope that helps. How far do you walk? I should incorporate walking on the days I don't run (which isn't often enough, trust me).

I wish you the very best of luck. I'm new too, but only trying to lose the same 6 pounds I've been working on for almost 2 years. It gets harder as we get older. Make sure you don't eat below 1200 calories or it slows things down dramatically. Welcome!!! :smile:
