Endless, if you google ideal body weight calculator you'll find numerous sources. Some have you calculate your frame size by using your wrist and/or elbow and with that you can see the charts for your height.
-
Stone, you're actually ideal with 23%. Here's a chart. http://lowcarbbetterhealth.blogspot.com/2012/07/ideal-body-fat-for-men-and-women-by-age.html (first one i found by google, not promoting low carb)

41% and hell no not happy. Want to get down to 25% to start, and drop 40+ lbs.

I'm ~1650, 5'4 with 40+ to lose. Diary is open if you want to see what I've been eating. I do need to watch the sodium though as blood pressure has been going up. Freezer of old food is nearly gone at which point I'm doing my own cooking/seasoning.

What you said below will stick with me the most, and I think everyone should remember it. Your story gives hope to anyone.

Wonderful transformation! Your daughter must be so proud. Do you do cheers with her?

Eat a sufficient enough breakfast to get you through to lunch. Eat a sufficient enough lunch to get you through to dinner. I work 9-5 and eat breakfast at 7:30 usually and lunch around 12:30. When my job gets stressful, I find that I get more hungry in the afternoon around 3:30. Then I might have a protein bar or carrots,…

I only record once a week (Monday morns) but I'll weigh myself most every morning, and every night just to see how my daily eating/activities may be affecting things.

Awwwww. I just saw Leverage on TV a few days ago. Must have been a re-run. Didn't know it was cancelled. BIG bummer.

Using this site, http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bmr/, it calculated your BMR at 1511 calories (what you need to eat to maintain your weight). Depending how much you move during the day (without exercise) your TDEE could be from 1700-2600 calories). Let's say you walk alot between classes and put it at 2000 calories.…

You won't be 'adding on'. If you did'nt already know, MFP builds in your calorie deficit to give you the weight loss you're shooting for. Thus the whole 'eat back the exercise calories' speel. Anyways, esp after exercise eat it you're hungry :)

LOL aross. Or perhaps the frisky furry friend?

5 pound loss in 4-6 weeks is GREAT! I see here often, this isn't the Biggest Loser. It's real life and in real life a 1 lb/week loss is perfectly normal. You're a woman too so your hormones play a part in fluctuating weight.
-
Are you tracking everything you're eating? The few days in the past week where it appeared you had a full diary, you still had 200+ calories to spare. Eat if you're hungry -- especially after a workout. Your body needs the energy :)
-
oh and BMR is the min you should be eating. As the above poster said, figure your BMR and TDEE. and knock off calories from TDEE. I'd suggest 17-1800 calories NET if you say 1700 is your BMR.

Committ yourself to 3 months to start. Take measurements every few weeks. Use the scale just once a week. Track what you eat every day and eat most, if not all, your exercise calories. You shocked your body by eating healthy -- Whoa! Hey what's going on? What's this healthy food? Nooo you're not taking away my fat! But you…

Nothing, if you want all carbs. Tomato sauce is (good?) veggie but one of my goals is a balanced diet -- protein, carb, veggies -- try for that in every meal. I'm a carb-aholic and love me a good pasta :)
-
You don't eat Just pasta do you? Where's the veggie side? Use salad or the veggie to get that full feeling. I'd test the weight for you but my rotiini box isn't opened yet. Based on the size of a cup though I'd guess you're probably 1 1/2 servings, based on tennis ball size estimate.

Personally I think it's a great attitude. She IS going to the gym. She IS trying. Eventually, she'll have success. The others? They won't have success because they haven't tried. OP, you have to start somewhere. Let them judge and who cares what they think! You are there for YOU. You're there to make your body healthier.…

I've had a similar experience to OP. Gym advertised we have programmable treadmills/intervals. So when I asked a trainer walking the floor how to use it, he said "I don't know Ask up front for the manual. I can't know every piece of equipment" Fast forward a year later -- I haven't been to that gym in a a long time but…

Two egg omelette with a little bit of spinach and mrs dash table seasoning , 1/2 cup skim milk, Thomas's light multi grain english muffin. 332 calories.

I would have said something to the boy like 'Hey, look at the lockers -- not at the ladies!" Mom would hear and hopefully get him not peeking. Other than that, let management know and take steps to correct.

I'm amazed you have energy! Your net calories are very low (1000 or less). Good luck with your eating and hopefully you can find the answers your looking for.

I'd suggest reading that link before getting too defensive. You haven't logged regularly in over a month and that makes it hard for people to properly offer advice (little to work with) I looked at your diary going back to Nov 27. 2 days of logging in that time frame, and both days you had 1000 +calories remaining. This…
