The article makes sense to me. 1) If I eat the way I want to with the food that's available to me, I'm going to be 190 pounds and climbing. I love eating a whole pizza, or buying a bag of mini-Reese's to eat in the car. Food is one of the two or three great pleasures in life, and my body evolved to stock up some fat in…

I always log the food, so that my daily numbers and weekly averages are correct. If I'm particularly un-proud of the day, sometimes I won't click the "complete" button, so that my diary doesn't get announced on my friend feed, but the info is still there.

In current shows, Fringe and Justified are favorites, and I like Dexter and True Blood a lot.

10/21: 167.4 10/28: 167.0 11/04: 162.8 11/11: 163.4 11/18: 162.0 11/25: 161.0 12/02: 159.4 12/09: 158.8 12/16: 156.0 <-- (at goal!!) 12/23: 157.6 Up 1.6 for the week. Not too concerned yet -- I know that I've been eating lots of junk, so assuming i get things mostly back on track in the next week, I should be good.

Love: Pullups, chinups. Running stairs. Jumping up stairs. I think I would love box jumps, if I had a jumping box and if it wouldn't wake up my family. Hate: Burpees, but do them anyway. If you have resistance bands, you can use them to do an assisted pull up or chin up.

I just threw in a rump roast and three bean chili.

I love almost all the songs listed. I hate: - Christmas Shoes - Do They Know It's Christmas - Chris Brown's version of This Christmas

Here are some random thoughts: 1) IMHO, an elliptical is probably a little better workout than a recumbent bike. The elliptical is whole body plus core, while a bike is mostly legs. 2) That said, mixing up your workouts is generally good, helps to avoid boredom, and helps to avoid muscle specialization that reduces calorie…

My wife and daughter went to Cheesecake Factory two nights ago, and brought home some pear and blue cheese flatbread. YUM!!

IMHO, Cheesecake Factory >> Applebees, Charlies, Fridays, Tuesdays, etc. etc. etc. Also, the avocado egg rolls are awesome.

Eggs and tuna are awesome! Good choices. :-) My standbys to make up end of the day shortages are almonds, dried fruit, and cheese. Healthy, compact, and lots of calories.

I have no problem with McD's. I would have trouble eating there every day, and if you were particularly salt sensitive, it might not be for you, but if you get your calories and macros right, you're 90% of the way there.

Sounds delicious, but does it taste different from just making trail mix out of chocolate, cranberries, and pistachios? I'm too lazy to actually mix all that stuff.

I'm friends only. I don't like my daily activity getting sucked up by Google, but I don't care if my friends see what I eat/how I exercise.

Not even close this month. 74.2/100 so far, but I may get in some more distance later today.

Rowed 1.3 miles this morning, bringing my total up to 49.0/100. I'm definitely not on track to reach 100, unless I manage to step up my weekends.

IMHO: 1. Starvation mode - Half-true, but not as important as proponents think. 2. 1kg of muscle is smaller than 1kg of fat - Yes, as stated. (And brilliantly stated, btw). 3. Water weight - Can vary weight up or down by a few pounds or more on any given day, but averages out if you take enough data. 4. TOM gains - Not…
