according to my doctor it is almost impossible for anyone to get the nutrients they need to be healthy on less then 1500 cals a day. you need to up for exercise not starve your body. if you starve yoru body you are putting your health and weight loss in major danger.

i totally should have brought some veggies with me to munch on. My GF lunch was very satisfying but a whopping 600 cals.

Since i am gluten free and mostly dairy free I usually bring a lot of food treats with me and they have saved me so many times. One thing i suggest is to bring acceptable snacks with you. drink tons of water, etc. But it is hard and I am always looking for other ideas. COntacting the caterer is a great idea..

Usually they have pastries for dessert which i cant have anyway because I am gluten free. Then they give you a box of whatever they choose for lunch. It is scary stuff!

Thanks for your words. I agree. There is a certain readiness/ determined component. I get pretty discouraged, distracted and downtrodden easily and apparently can convince myself that this one BAR OF CHOCOLATE / BOX OF DOUGHNUTS etc wont really count cause no one is looking. Bad habit.
