If seeing small gains some days doesn't discourage you then it's probably okay. If you're the type of person that gets discouraged easily then I would say it is not ok. All of us want to be slim and healthy now, but if you've got control over your mindset and know what to expect on the way then you should be okay. Myself…

2% milk and then a tablespoon of either: Honey Raspberry Jam Bot mix in really well and so far not got bored of 'em.

Just given up my main vice, pepsi max. Was drinking upto 4ltr's a day. Gave it up monday, had withdrawal symptoms tuesday, today I'm fine. A Little tired perhaps (less caffine I guess) but otherwise I've been good. So I guess the answer is no... I thought I would struggle a lot more with it. Oh and since Monday I've lost…

Interesting. Day 2. Nothing. No shakes, no headache.... Nothing... This isn't like last time, the withdrawal symptoms lasted for almost a week.... Last night had a pineapple tea but apart from that nothing unusual. Keeping my fingers crossed :)

This is something for home :) I'll be stuck at work for the next few hours though not sure how my workmates would take that :)

Oh yeah I was expecting one of those to be the culprit. I will probably have a coffee soon just to take the shock off. Pretty rough right now though. Edit: I'd love to take some Excedrin Migrane. Sadly live in the UK... I know there's equivalents over here so may find something. However I prefer not to take anything if I…

1. Congratulate them. 2. Promise myself that I'm going to catch them and beat them. Don't be jealous. Be there for your friend if she has a problem but keep to what is working for you, we all lose differently.

Looking at your profile pic, if that is you, you don't look to be carrying a whole lot of excess. I'd say if you're working out and doing things right that you shouldn't worry about your scales, worry about how you feel and if you're getting fitter etc. See if there are any things you can change to balance your body more,…

Been road cycling recently, only really just started it but enjoying myself, only doing 4-7km each time I go out but building up :)

I just said this in another thread. Who cares as long as you notice? If you see people day by day it's actually quite hard to notice small changes, but eventually they will. Until then enjoy what you're getting back yourself, it can be your little secret :) It used to be that at 10% people start to notice, but with so many…

From London. Good start, keep it up! :)

I know it might sound cheesy, I started at 335lbs, now I'm at 291lbs, the changes I've felt in my body and attitude are enough of a reward for me. I DO buy myself nice stuff all the time, for example this weekend I upgraded my home PC, but now days I don't buy myself bad food as a reward :) which is what I used to do when…

Week one Weigh in. Starting: 292 Today: 291 Target: 272 Slow. But refocusing today and hopefully next week will go better.

So far this week: Monday - Nothing. Was Bank Holiday in the UK and had a busy weekend so rested up. Today - 50mins on the Treadclimber followed by 10mins Swimming. Just thought it would be a good idea to track it :) Saturday I helped my mom move, was 3rd floor flat (it's a penthouse, low block) and after the first trip up…

Mostly Cardio focused at the moment. Mondays - Gym - Mostly Tread Climber (40 - 60 mins) sometimes with some cross trainer/running thrown in. Tuesdays - Cycling Wednesday - Gym - Mix and Match 15mins on 3 to 4 pieces of equipment/excersizes (Swimming/Rowing/Cycling added to mondays) or sometimes I'll do a weights session.…

No spaces in the (again without the space) at the end.

I'll bite. Starting Weight: 292 GW: 272 If I make it, it will also be the 'lightest' I've been since 2002. My struggles are keeping myself motivated, avoiding the alcohol and not falling into bad habits. That weekend takeaway is just too damn tempting, so I've got to shut that down. I think I can do this though. I really…

Speaking from experience. I lost 10 (near 11) stone in 6 months. I almost killed myself doing it and put every pound back on as I wasn't giving myself a foundation for what I did AFTER I lost the weight. It's possible. But it's probably not safe. Slow and steady.

I use this: http://www.weightlossresources.co.uk/body_weight/weight_converter.htm Does the job for most occasions.

Hehe I was thinking this earlier when I got out of the bath wrapped my towl around myself, and it stayed in place :) usually it falls off after a few seconds or I have to hold it... no more :) Great isn't it.

The word has lost it's meaning. If you ask me "what is the diet of the lowland gorilla" it means 'what does it eat" not "what does it eat to lose weight" your diet is your diet no matter what it is, when you change your diet, it's still your diet. You may start a new diet, but you don't really go on a diet, you're already…

I use a site called Muchos to host mine. I guess photobucket will do the job though :)

Uh, was in the lift at work today, my trousers slipped down very quickly and I almost lost them. Headed to the shops and bought a new belt :)

I eat sensibly. I don't eat Junk if I can get away with it. If I do eat junk it's 'good' junk (such as shish Kebab rather than Doner) as we can't all be saints. I excersize 2 - 4 times a week. I walk to the station rather than taking the bus. I've lost over 40lbs so far, still plenty to go. There is no 'magic cure' as far…

From the guys side, my baggy old shirts now only get used for training in (I don't like tight clothing) my combats have gone from just about up to my hips to over my waist (baggy doesn't matter) and with the drawstraps tightened rather than at bursting point. Very soon I'm going to have to replace everything. I can't wait…

I put it out of my head. I think about who I am now, who I want to be and that I must be strong to get there. I must say I've mostly been craving free the last couple of months, I don't know why but hey, I'm not arguing, I think I've just got more stubborn :) You'll get used to it.

I've always found my body reacts to what I do to it pretty quickly. I guess I am lucky that way. I'm 36 now, last time I lost this much weight was almost a decade ago, yet I find myself losing now as fast as I was then, but doing it more sensibly. I guess it all depends on the mindset and if you truly want to lose. A week,…

My goal for the festival I'm going to this week was to be under 300lbs. I'm currently 294lbs. Very happy about that. Now I plan not to go back over three this weekend :D

Yet I was doing both. And I proved it's not safe or healthy. I'm not saying I was in any kind of 'starvation' mode. Just that if you do something like I was for an extended time you're going to give yourself health problems, just as you would if you ate 2 extra large pizza's every day for six months. Overloading and Under…
