I'm from the Isle of Sheppey in Kent, UK. A lot of hurt happened there. I escaped and moved pretty much as far as you can get away whilst still staying in England. So yeah Sheppey Escapee. Life has been so much better since I escaped from that place.

I try to balance it between all the meals and leave room for 3 snacks. I'm on about 1500 and any exercise cals on top. I'm not a big eater in the morning just can't stomach a big meal that soon after waking up.

Looking to lose 95lbs and am always up for getting new friends on here :)

Wow! You look amazing. Congratulations.

I weigh daily but log it weekly. I look at it on average, as long as it is a downward trend then I am happy. I do log both gains and losses.

No, I really don't like my pictures at the moment :( I look really fat in them, can't wait to get rid of the fat and the moobs!

I'm down 2lbs this week. Considering I had fallen off the wagon for 2 days I am pretty happy with that! :D

I tend to reach for the high sugar/high fat foods when I am particularly stressed. I'm trying to work on this by trying to manage my stress levels a bit more and coming up with coping techniques for when the stress is unavoidable. I'm trying not to bring those kinds of foods into the house as I have little impulse control…

Hi there, I have only just started on a Low FODMAP diet. Mine is on top of being gluten and dairy free. I'm not sure I can be of much help to you though as I'm not a vegetarian. I hope that you get some good recommendations soon.

I've been losing weight primarily from diet. I do a little light exercise, but nothing major. Have lose 23lbs so far doing that. I presume that the closer to goal I get the more exercise I'll need to add in. For now it's working fine for me though which is great considering the chronic fatigue, chronic pain and other…

Welcome to MFP! Personally my long term goal is 130lbs. I am only 5'5" and I have a very small frame. That puts me in the mid range of healthy BMI. I'm on here daily and am up for getting more friends on here. Good luck with the remaining loss that you have to go.

My mother always jokes that I was born old and that my age and peers are catching up to me. That being said I think of people 70+ as old. My MIL is about to turn 60, FIL is in his 70s. My mum is only mid 40s so I don't think of her as old.

- Lose 10lbs before my surgery on 20th Feb - Daily goals of 3ltrs of water (recommended by my neuro because of POTS) - Increase salt intake (also recommended by neuro) - Adhere to Low FODMAP Diet (recommended by Neurogastro) - Start going to disabled swimming sessions again - Start doing my physio again (have been a bit…

Doesn't really bother me. I'd be a bit of a hypocrite if I did. I do see some very overweight people and wonder to myself how painful that must be carrying all that extra weight, particularly on their joints. Never really judgemental though.

- Sweets and junk food near check outs - Tempting junk food offers all over the place - People who pinch and man handle the fresh produce and put it back bruised - People who take a massive trolley worth of stuff into a 15 items or less checkout - People who stand there and have a long conversation with their friends…

My close friends and family know about it but acquaintances no. I have tried and failed so many times that I didn't want to announce it until I had lost a significant amount.

Have added my start weight. I weigh on Saturdays :-)

I'm aiming for at least 15lbs.

Hi Jen, I have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and a whole load of associated conditions. Well done on getting started. There are quite a range of people on here with differing levels of disability. Losing the weight will definitely be beneficial as you will be taking the strain off. Sounds like you are doing a lot of the right…

Down 3.4lbs. Only had Christmas day off and even then ate a lot less than previous years. Ate some goodies but didn't go overboard with it.

Hope everyone had a great holiday. Had christmas day off and was back to normal the next day. My weigh in day is Saturday. A lot of my MFP friends have disappeared this month, hopefully they'll be coming back in Jan. Always looking for new friends on here :D
