  • I went to RR the day before I started my diet, as a "last hurrah", and yikes, I was just like you - burger/fries/water == 1463 calories, but what floored me was a whopping 77g of fat and 2496 mg of sodium! Still, it was good though.
  • Realize the first couple weeks are painful if you're starting from scratch. After you build up some muscle and see some results, you'll start to enjoy it - and feel guilty when you don't do it. Just like everyone else - you gotta start at the bottom and work your way up. good luck, ed
  • Hi. I'm kind of in between - I weigh in every few days, but my "official" weight is Tuesday morning, after a very low-calorie Monday. I notice some fluctuation and there are days I'm definitely disappointed. But I know, as we all do, that this is over the long haul. ed
  • Thanks so much for your recommendations. After some research, i went with a Tanita 351. We'll see how it goes when it gets here.
