  • Did you buy it directly from Beachbody?
  • Yep, my weigh in is on fridays as well, the last 2 weeks were awesome, today, gained a pound and a half...totally blew my day! but, it could be muscle mass, could be water, who knows...but it did give me more motivation during my workout today! you can pout about it, or let it motivate you...
  • I've noticed that when people lose weight in a healthy way, they tend to look younger. When they lose weight in an unhealthy way (like starving themselves, not working out, etc...) they look older. Just my observation.
  • Wow, that is quite a difference! You can do it, you already know you have it in you!!!
  • donuts...was never a big fan of them anyways, but now I just view them as round circles of lard! complete waste!
  • You came to the right place!!! Welcome! I love DC...gotten to visit a few times (in the middle of summer no less...ha ha) and I just love it!

  • What I've observed is that some folks, often without them being conscious of it, are not naturally inclined to be supportive. Whether it's latent jealousy, or competitiveness, or a proclivity toward cynicism, there are those who are predisposed to offer negative and even hurtful commentary. Sometimes it's best to just…
  • you know the old saying, misery loves company!
  • that is one of the funniest things I've read in a long time...thanks for the laugh!!!
  • Welcome! I am fairly new myself. I know it's really hard to find time to work out. One thing that we did is, we bought a spinner (bike) and put it in our front room, so that way when we plop down to watch tv, we can spin rather than just sit. That way, even if you only have 1/2 hour, you can still get some exercise in.…
  • Did you see the show Dr Oz did on that? The majority of those drops are nothing more than saline solution. The best way to find out is buy a pregnancy test and drop it on there, if it says negative, its a fake. The hunger pangs will not go away, your body is trying to tell you something! You need to eat!!! Just like…
  • 8 pounds is awesome!!! Keep it up!!! Be a trend setter, or just a break from the crowd...use their energy to eat a lot, and turn it around to see if you can do the exact opposite!!! We will all support you!!! Keep it up!!!
  • Your introduction had me in tears. I know how you feel. I have been there, and it's not fun. You are in the right place! Keep your head high, and stay strong!!! I want you to look in the mirror every morning and say 3 things you like about yourself. Keep in touch with your good friends Confidence, Self Worth, and Love.…
  • I hear ya! It's very hard these days to stay motivated...it's too easy to run through a drive through when you are on the go. Not to mention it costs more to eat healthy than it does to eat crappy. I also used to think that if I ran or did some other form of exercise, that was reason to be able to eat what ever I…
  • Congrats!!! You look amazing!!! You look younger too!!! You are an inspiration, thank you!!!
  • I agree with what a lot of people said, GUM!!! I also find that when I'm at work, or just busy doing any type of project, I don't want to eat. But it's when I'm idle, like watching TV that I want to eat. I suggest going for a walk, or walk around a mall...anything to get you moving.
  • WOW! You look amazing!!! Thank you for sharing, that is very inspiring!
  • if you just started working out this week, you are probably gaining muscle. p90x will do that at first...give it at least another week or 2 and you will see the weight start to come off. Make sure you are eating enough calories, otherwise your body will think it needs to hold onto everything. I found (thanks to many of the…
  • I think each person is just different. I personally love my Diet Coke, it cures my sweet tooth and I feel like I got a treat. I have never noticed that I gain weight when I drink it. So, IMO it's just a personal thing.
  • I'm with you, I was exclusively using my phone...but you can't see the community on there, which is sad. My husband doesn't have a smart phone, so he gets on here all the time. I had to see for myself...and he is right, this is very motivating!!! Welcome to the community and lots of luck with your goals...you can do it!…
  • I am 5'3", and I would love to be a 6. Realistically, with my age, I am shooting for an 8. I am currently in a 12. (when I graduated high school, I was a 4! ahhh...the good ol' days...)
