  • I'm going for Advanced and Rick, like last time :) It worked out well for me. I'm far from advanced but I want the challenge!
  • ***Update*** Forest Team Roster: aprilyankee- team leader Howebrook hungry4righteousness 9000feethigh ActuarialChef acv125 Tolkienite sunshine91479 virgo221984 R_ckThisBody Reminder to weigh in by Friday at midnight! Feel free to PM me to log for you anytime, or post on my wall. I'll always have a reminder out on Friday…
  • Team poll... What kind of challenges do you want? I'm doing a few challenges that overlap so I have tons of ideas. I was thinking we can do a weekly challenges with exercise and intake elements. This week I am doing 60 minutes of cardio per day and a salad for one meal everyday.
  • Hi Christine! I need some additional motivation myself. Once I hit my mini goal I kind of stalled... Still have a long way to go so hoping this will give me the push I need!
  • My son runs track and cross country but also plays other sports and visa versa. His whole track team consisted of a dozen "track" guys, all the wrestling guys and some football, basketball & soccer guys just looking to keep in shape so running will definitely help there. My son's BFF is a wrestler and they do a lot of…
  • I'm really going to need to re-watch this episode! I think the explosives idea is incredibly plausible. Eugene is supposed to be a genius, but I haven't seen any evidence of such and don't truly believe he knows how to cure anything. But I'm jaded like that. I can see Rick escaping to go get the weapons. I remember the…
  • I love this thread! Wildly entertaining :) I need a new boyfriend as well as I kicked mine to the curb. Give the BOB a chance, conversation is overrated.
  • I think they actually have an advantage. Terminus folks had every opportunity to kill them and didn't. Why? Whatever their plans are, be it livestock or brainwashing they need them alive for something. It would have been easier to kill them than to corral them. This gives them an edge. Hopefully they can find a way to…
  • I just got myself off a 5 week plateau so I feel your pain. If you haven't done your measurements, do them. You could be losing inches of fat and gaining muscle which would account for a lack of scale movement. I've had issues with doing too much cardio and burning too many calories in proportion to what I was consuming.…
  • So I took the "What TWD character are you?" quiz and actually got Rick! Too funny... Here's the link: http://www.zimbio.com/quiz/cSHb9pVhQDp/Walking+Dead+Character
  • I got Rick too. Does that mean I'm a little crazy?
  • To get my driver's license per my dad, I had to change the oil, change a tire and learn to drive a stick. My dad had a pick up truck, first time out I hit a patch of ice and ended up in a snow bank. The first new vehicle I ever bought was a stick. I haven't had one in years but have 3 teenagers that need to learn so it's…
  • Looks like this week we have another cardio kick up this week, 270 minutes! :smokin:
  • The graph is awesome, I love graphs! We are a pretty awesome team. Small but mighty. Car shopping sucks because I'm picky. Why is it so hard to find a manual transmission? Disappointed again, no Rick. But at least we had Abraham, and looks like he killed a couple zombies, so we shouldn't be completely "pointless" as usual.…
  • Hi all! Hope you're having a good week. I'm car shopping which I HATE. Most of my "walking" has been that. Up to 240 minutes of cardio thus far so will have spare numbers if anyone is short. And I just realized I haven't done my planks yet. I did over 600 minutes of planks last week finishing up an ab challenge. So more…
  • Thanks for deciding the punishment exercise so quickly! You guys are awesome! ~Team Rick (and Abraham)~
  • Yeah, I feel your pain. I see it from the other end because I'm a hiring manager. Just keep in mind that many positions that are posted actually plan to pull from a pool of internal applicants first, they just post the position because they "have" to for equal opportunity purposes. Also some positions are posted to…
  • I'm doing the treadmill at 1% incline. I divide up my time by minutes walking and minutes running. But I run at 3.5 mph which is walking on MFP. My actual walk is 2.5 mph.
  • The exercise looks interesting. I looks like a basic one legged squat. I don't know what the purpose of the arm movement is, if only to bend down to engage the abs. I have horrible balance so it will be a challenge for me just to stand on one leg, let alone try the arm movement thing. I do love trying a new exercise…
  • I know this week was my lowest cardio & strength week yet, by far. Anyone else? I assumed I was the only one.... Mid challenge slump? For me I actually got 2 puppies (fostering) 2 weeks ago and they have monopolized my time/energy. Freaking adorable but massively time consuming. Worse than having a baby, at least babies…
  • I was diagnosed as vitamin D deficient by an endocrinologist. I thought I was fine because I was taking a multi vitamin and thought my hypothyroidism was causing my symptoms. My doc told me this: 1. For the vitamin D to be absorbed by the body in the over the counter vitamin form, take it with food and no other vitamins.…
  • I think that sounds great as it is. It reminds me of the workout Michonne does. I like that the workout can be strength or cardio, but I would like to see it as an addition above their set goals (not to be used as a part of reaching their goals). So 5 days at 5 minutes each day would be 25 minutes of circuit training.
  • I guess it doesn't really matter because we don't have to do them  , but I won't want to give something I wouldn't do myself. The blender video looks good. I also like the idea of a circut training. Maybe something on a graduating scale, 5 repetitions day one, then double each day. I would be cool to do something…
  • Congrats on MVP to colibri23!!!
  • I also vote for Abraham! Awesome job Team Rick! Doling out punishment should be fun  Anything but squats, I'm so sick of squats! Maybe sit ups or ab crunches instead? Or an additional 60 minutes of cardio?
  • No spoilers in case anyone hasn't watched it yet. I watched the episode, but not the Talking Dead, which I really wanted to see with Beth and Darryl. But I recorded it, me and my shiny new treadmill will be watching it tonight. I have some making up to do for my slacky week. I still think we have a good shot at top team…
  • Hi All, I'm April. I'm 37 and a mom of 3. I started my family really super young, but no regrets. My oldest is now 20 and a college sophomore. My younger son is 18 and high school senior and my daughter is 15. I have always struggled with my weight. Growing up everyone in my family was overweight and was actually the…
  • Lol! I've always compared it to taking a crap, something both male and females do. Something that needs to be done on a regular basis, involves dropping your pants and wiping. I've had to cover many a man taking a dump, just like they covered me while addressing my period. Plus tampons are awesome for plugging bullet…
  • As a whole I would say no. I think intervention should be made in the forms of education instead. However, it depends on the situation. I know a child that is so morbidly obese that the doctor informed his morbidly obese mother that if he doesn't lose weight within a year he will be dead. He has several serious health…
  • That is super tempting! I need 100 more for the week but I think I can get them between today and tomorrow. I think Chris gave me his cold! I feel like it's the zombie flu, but more likely a sinus infection. My calories are way low so at least I have that
