  • I also have severe fatigue. Told my doc so they did labs. Thought maybe my thyroid was being a brat again. Turns out I’m severely anemic.
  • I have a hard time remembering to take it. I haven’t taken a full weeks worth yet And I’ve been on it for 3 months. I’m getting better though. Lost 2 pounds last month and that motivated me.
  • New to Columbus :)

  • 1. Name, Age, Marital Status, Children, Where do you live? Hi I'm April and live in Georgia, but I'm from Maine originally. I'm divorced and have 3 kids, one in high school and two in college. 3. Weight and how long have you been on MFP? Current weight is 204. I've been on MFP since 2011. I was on another calorie counter…
  • Awesome job! I haven't touched 3 yet. I feel like it's the holy grail, once I've made it there I've "arrived"....
  • The weekends are my weakness. Being home. I do great during the week. I just need to stop buying food. I have tons of junk left over from the party. Staying strong!!!
  • Awesome!!!! I totally pigged out this weekend. My daughter's birthday party. So. Much. Junk.
  • I love this so much!!!
  • Oh I've been there. Indulged quite a bit this weekend for the holiday. My favorite holiday as well :) Lots of alcohol and ice cream. Was surprised to see a loss, but it appears my thyroid medicine is working and I'm on the mend from the pneumonia. Still super tired but getting my exercise back up as I go. One day at a time.

  • I gave myself a two week hiatus and indulged in the ice cream. Back on the wagon though, with a 4 pound weight gain. It happens. You can let it define you and dwell and feel bad about yourself. I don't. I'm human. I was sick and still recovering. I'm not quite up to doing cardio yet, but back to getting my 10k steps a day…

  • I used the Health app on the phone for a long while before I got my Fitbit. I didn't like the app dashboard. Other than where it was synced to MFP, I couldn't track my steps, daily, weekly etc. It only stores them by the minute. Also, it doesn't count steps when walking in place. I looked at a few apps and liked the fitbit…
  • Turns out my little sickness was pneumonia... So my goal is to get better and be able to start again in July :)

  • Turns out the sick was a little more sick than I thought. So I have pneumonia as it turns out.
  • So I caved and had some ice cream yesterday. But I figured since I was sick with a sore throat and hadn't hit 1000 calories a day for the past 3 days it would be ok. I didn't eat very much. Not sure if it's because I'm sick or because I haven't had any sweets for 2 weeks. Interesting to be sure. Granted, I haven't had an…
  • I got myself a nice little illness so I'm on pause right now. Very annoyed, I don't feel like being sick. But really, who ever does.
  • Still sticking to it. I did have one piece of peppermint hard candy. It was 2pm and I hadn't eaten yet and felt my blood sugar dropping and that's all I could come up with. I figured that would be ok. Right now I'm sick as hell so haven't done much of anything. But I did lose 2 pounds last week so feeling good about that.…

  • So I had a shake this weekend. I'm not feeling too bad about it though. I took the kids to Sonic after a 5 mile mountain hike. They each had a full meal with a bad shake (something with candy bars mixed into it). I had a basic shake (medium chocolate) with a blt and no fries. I was still within my calories for the day :)…

  • I love tea :) I might have a cup myself. I had a good day diet wise. Other than my 20 minute workout I wasn't very active. And I'm not even close to my 10k step goal. Days not over though.
  • Day 3 level one done.
  • Things happen, it's great to learn from your past, good and bad. But you don't need to dwell there. It'll only create negative feelings and get you down. Absolutely nothing can be done about the past. All you can go is move forward. Think of all the positives and focus on that. I've had 5000 calories binges so in the scope…
  • Day 2 of level one completed, last night. Definitely better. I incorporated the weights. I only have a 5lb set. I think they are a little too much to start out with so I think I'm going to try using them every other day. I also cut my grass so bonus cardio :)
  • Yeah when I got hungry I drank a bottle of water and chewed some gum. My poor mouth isn't getting much exercise with the lack of snacking. It helps with the boredom.
  • If your struggling you might want to up it to 1500. And remember that's a net number. If you are burning more calories you need to eat more calories. Today was a struggle, didn't eat enough and got super hungry, my danger time. I ate a whole pint of strawberries instead of junk so I'm calling it a victory.
  • Ok day 1 done. Good news is that it wasn't nearly as hard as I was expecting. Still tough. I did take a couple breaks to catch my breath. The jump rope kills me. Every. Time. 29 days to go...
