I usually find that just saying "No, thank you" will suffice. If I do get comments on what I decided to bring for lunch, like the coworker who questioned if my half-a-baked-potato was the only thing I was going to eat, I responded that "actually, it's very filling." - and then changed the subject.

Like most everyone else, portion sizes got me. Especially with coffee creamer (when I actually measured it in a large cup.... I was using almost a 1/4 cup!) Sodium got me too. I still have some salami in the fridge... love salami, but it's going to eat up most of my sodium limit for the day!

No one has outright insulted me, but I do have a relative who takes the passive-aggressive approach of constantly offering me various snacks and sweets, and being downright insistent about it, whenever they hear I'm trying to lose.
