At first I wasn't sure, but my instincts said, what the heck?! Why not challenge yourself? Well, it's definitely been challenging, but I'm so glad I'm in this! AND I'm part of the kick *kitten* Sacrimoni team which is a huge bonus! Didn't get to the gym today since I was gone all day celebrating my husbands birthday. I had…

My family and I will be having Chicken Tikka Masala and steamed broccoli. To lighten up the Masala, I used only chicken breast and 1/2 & 1/2 instead of heavy cream as the recipe calls for. And I also omited the butter to saute the onions/chickens. That's what Pam is for!

I have a good friend who is a heavy Zumba instuctor. Or I should say was a heavy Zumba instructor. She became an instructor at over 300 lbs and has recently lost over 120 lbs! Never let your weight fears from stopping you from doing what you love. I started taking Zumba classes at 317 lbs. It wasn't easy at first, but I…

Seriously....is there anything thing to like? Think of all the reasons you would love to be at a normal weight then do a reverse 180. Yup, I came up with nothing either.

I have a friend who weighs around the weight I did before what I've lost. She is scared to join a gym in fear she will be made fun of. I told her that should be the least of her worrys, honestly. We had a heart to heart talk and I told her I've been there. At 317 lbs, I was going to do those Zumba classes and no one was…

Thinking of you, Scott! Wishing you and your family the best during this time. And though you're not logging, which is understandable, can you drop a joke now and then? No one tells them like Mr. Third! :) Take care of yourself! Margit

The future's so bright I gotta wear shades....

H! I started doing Zumba at 317 lbs. It was really hard at first, but I was determined to continue no matter what. 91 lbs later, I'm still with it and also do Aqua Zumba and Zumba toning. I love it all! Give it time and I'm sure you'll love it to. Feel free to add me if you'd like.

I live in Lewiston. I love Cape Elizabeth! Love having picnics at Ft. Williams park! So gorgeous.

Feel free to add me, too! :)

Hi from one Mainer to another! :) Hope you can find your way back to using MFP and getting that great support it offers! Don't know about you, but I'm so ready for Spring. There's hiking to be had!

That I've lost almost 100 lbs and have been able to FINALLY maintain my weight loss! Can I get a whoop - whoop?!

Well done, Mr. Third! You got this!

April 11th makes 21 years for my husband and I. We've been through a lot but stuck it out for better or for worse. He is truly my best friend!

I don't have to go anywhere. I live in Maine, which is the "Vacationland" state! After this recent snowstorm, doing anything in Florida sounds great! Actually, my kids always go to my parents (2 hrs away) and spend the week there. It's a nice break for my DH and I. We always take our vacations in the summer and this year…

I actually had a Gastric Bypass 16 years ago. I lost around 125 lbs, but gained most of it back from eating horribly and never exercising. A year and 1/2 ago I decided to do something about being back over 300 again. This time with eating right and exercising I'm down 94 lbs and I know it's off forever! Wish I did it this…

Yup, yup! And it drives me crazy that there isn't one!

I don't mind for the most part. My family thinks I'm crazy for weighing/measuring everything. Trust me when I say, listening to them is more of a pain in my *kitten* than just doing what I want. I've been doing this for awhile now so they've gotten better, but I take counting my calories as seriously as I do taking a daily…

If I see someone with a zit, I want to pop that sucker!

Feel free to add me also! I love meeting new friends and sharing support! The more, the merrier!

With two 11 year olds that know when we make waffles, it only happens maybe twice a week. When the kids are gone, pass me the syrup cause this girl is hungry for waffles!

Going to make this tonight! Going to use Ro-Tel tomatos with chilis instead of salsa. I plan to omit the corn and serve over brown rice instead. I love cheese, but not sure it really needs it. However, I will add a dollap of plain Greek yogurt.

Hi All, 45, from Maine and a mom to 11 year old twins; a boy & girl. Though I can't pull an all nighter like I used to, I'd say I'm pretty cool otherwise! I'd love to be pals with other cool 40+ people out there! :)
