  • I will be 43 in August. Turning 40 was a huge deal for me and decided to kick it's *kitten*. I started running the summer I turned 40. I now run at least 18km a week and have lost 14 pounds. I'm currently the weight I was when I got married. And I"m rocking 40. I do it for this reason: "You don't look forty!"
  • Before the age of video I did Richard Simmons' workout ALBUM. Forget what it was called...... It was on tv but the first workout "video" I did was 20 minute workout. Tae Bo was the first one I really got into though.

  • You might want to slow down your pace if you want to run for a longer amount of time/distance. Most runners do a long slow run at least once a week. Check out Hal Higdon's training plans. They add time/distance gradually.
